Someone help. Is the End Of Life counseling mandatory or not??
My coworker a big Obama supporter says it’s a myth and is NOT mandatory. Anyone know if this is true or not??

Supposedly it is not mandatory but they will pay doctors to do it every 5 years. You should go to the provision and read it and then you can talk to your co worker about it.
supposedly voluntary but there is a financial incentive for doctors to do it, so it will be routine.
My understanding is that it is “voluntary” but that doctors, etc. will have a monetary incentive to initiate it. Can you say “preying on the elderly”?

My understanding is that it is not mandatory, but the doc will get paid for having the “counseling session”. It still, imho, puts the patient in an uncomfortable position. What I don’t know is if this is something the doctor can initiate and charge on his own, or if it is only done at the patient’s request.
