Supposedly it is not mandatory but they will pay doctors to do it every 5 years. You should go to the provision and read it and then you can talk to your co worker about it.
The real problem is that this “counseling” is a back door to eventually “insist” that the patient take palative/hospice care instead of treatment that the ObamaCare Plan sees as too expensive.
