I'm delighted to see you employ one of the sharp and telling quotes from Tom Paine in addressing this modern crisis. That is the exact premise of my latest book, now being published. See the link in the tag line, below.

Not to mention quotes from Janis Joplin as well!

I've been reading Thomas Paine this summer. The Crisis, The Rights of Man, and Common Sense. There are words he wrote and published in these works that if written today would surely garner a visit from the SS and a no doubt listing on the DHS list.

What we've been losing for decades has been our Right to Free Speech and Freedom of the Press. Political correctness it was called and we gave away a piece of our Rights.

Today we find ourselves in the unbelievable position of being called racists, bigots, and now the sharpest cut...un-American for standing up against policy, against socialism, against that which is in opposition to our Constitution.

We have to take the language back. We've long complained that one cannot debate a liberal. That is because they have the PC strategy down to an art. Everyone wants facts, but none want to be guilty. So we stood silent even in the face of things we knew were wrong. It has now been decades since that the idea of PC entered the American psyche. It is just as wrong today as the day it became common to be shushed because what one said or wrote wasn't PC.

Saying something as factual and true as, “0bama’s people,” can provoke cries of racism. But the truth is they are 0bama’s people. The April day the DHS security issued that memo identifying characteristics of extremists, terrorists etc. We ceased being constituents of the President, the Administration, or Congress. We couldn't believe their folly and yet we remained in our denial too.

So today we are a people without representation, without recourse, and in many ways without a country. I am sure there will be fervent cries of foul regarding my statement, but when one finally comes to terms with the fact the people who control our country are: Oathbreakers, have no intention of following our laws, nor being held accountable to our laws, one will realize our country fails to exist except for what is in our hearts.
