Democrats manufactured the story that protestors at town hall meetings were carrying Nazi flags. Obama policies seem to be more closely aligned with the policies of Nazism, so a comparison of the two is necessary. Among the key elements of Nazism were Racism, Eugenics, leader principle, Government control of the industry, and of course moral relativism. http://www.wordiq.com/definition/Nazism. The shared connection of racism speaks for itself. Both megalomaniacs, Hitler and Obama, are racists. Hitler, (who possibly was Jewish) hated Jews. Obama who clearly is partially white expressed his personal dislike of whites when, lacking any facts other then race, labeled a white police officer doing his job as "acting stupidly". Race was the only basis for that judgment, making Obama a racist. Furthermore both dictators use race as a basis for policy decisions. Hitler designed the Final Solution to further a policies of eliminating Jews as a race. Obama appointed a Supreme Court Justice who has demonstrated that she uses race as a criteria for judgment rather than the Constitution.

Don't be too proud of yourself. You are thinking on a very elementary level. You saw what happened to Clinton in 1994 and said, "ah, that will happen to Obama, only worse cause he's not as smart as Clinton". Well, you forgot Heisenberg's principle.
Obama may or may not be as smart as Clinton, but he is definitely a student of history and has a good memory of recent events. He studied Alinsky and taught Alinsky. He remembers full well what happened in 1994, and I can guarantee you that he is planning night and day to prevent it from happening. If he is moving fast now, it is because he has calculated that he can do these things, and still get away with it in 2010 and 2012.
Obama does not take chance with elections. He rigs them. He rigged his election to the Illinois legislature. He rigged his Senate run, in the primary and the general. He and his foreign supporters and his sycophantic press rigged his Presidential run, with outlandishly lapdog coverage and illegal contributions that outspent a lousy GOP candidate by 2 or 3 times. He and his buddies even helped rig it so we got that lousy candidate. When the lousy candidate decided not to just phone it in, but to fight, by naming a conservative to the ticket, he and his minions rigged the coverage of her in order to try to destroy her.
He will examine every house and senate race in the 2010 election. He will try to get illegal aliens to vote (with Clinton's Motor Voter), or make them legal, use ACORN thugs where he can, use fraud in the close elections, use last minute smears, IRS audits, federal money, DOJ investigations, whatever it takes. If he holds Congress, he will repeat that process, only it will make 2010 look like a picnic. 2012 will be all out nuclear war, only one side doesn't believe in using nukes.
After he is re-elected, he will be 100x more arrogant and power mad than he currently is. You will see him go after the high-profile opponents like Rush, Glenn Beck and Fox News. (As I said, the little fish, like you and me and FR can wait til the third term).
There is only one way to stop him and that is to realize NOW that this is coming and throw everything possible at this guy. The first thing that must happen is to stop him, and the thing right now that has to be stopped is health care. Then amnesty for illegal aliens. Then another stimulus. If he keeps getting his way, the perception of his power will give him power.
If his momentum can be halted, then the opposition must nationalize the election of 2010, and coalesce behind a leader or small number of leaders who put forward a plan of action that can galvanize all the GOP and all the (few remaining) moderate Dems, who were too stupid and naive to realize what they were voting for in 2008. If you begin to knock down this guys aura of invinciblity, he will go down in a tidal wave of opposition in 2010. But if a disunited and RINO-led GOP proceeds in its current helter-skelter fashion, it will not be able to take advantage of the potential victory, and will, at best, gain a few seats, but not enough to stop Obama.

Good point. It does come across as silly and childish. If somebody has an argument to make, it's more convincing if they don't automatically reach for Hitler analogies.
One big problem with this "Obama is a racist, Hitler was a racist, Obama equals Hitler" approach is that a lot of Americans in history have been "racists" by today's standards. Were they all Hitlers? That's an awful lot of Hitlers running around. Some of them have even been president.

Every German and every Jew knew it back in the 1920s. They used to sneer at Hitler because of his Jewish grandparent, Schickelgruber. The Three Stooges called him Schickelgruber. Hitler did all he could to wipe out any historical record of his family background (sound familiar?). Psychiatrists have analyzed whether his anti-Semitism was out of a desire to prove how aryan he was. There may be historians who argue that he was not part Jewish, but I have not heard what their argument is. I think it's pretty well established.
As I said to gaslucas, no one is saying that Obama will go to the extremes that Hitler did. No one is saying that Obama is Hitler. Comparisons can be made between these two individuals’ view points though and the policy directions that Obama is taking. If this were one thing, where it was say just the nationalization of an automotive company, I would agree with you that it is childish. The problem is though, there are more comparisons that are valid than are not.
Yes, hopefully, the issues are clear and definable, allowing people to make their choices.

One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his co-dependents Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach their personal objective. They are focused on one thing alone and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and does not deserve their attention.
If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or another, he has no interest in it. The "present" vote is a safe vote. No one can criticize him if things go wrong. Those issues are unworthy by their very nature because they are not about him. Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations.
The University of Chicago Law School provided him a lot longer than expected and at the end it evolved into, guess what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book Dreams from My Father.
Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself? Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month.
A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power.
A narcissist cares for no one but himself. This election is like no other in the history of America . The issues are insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world? I hate to sound alarmist, but one is a fool if one is not alarmed. Many politicians are narcissists. They pose no threat to others...They are simply self serving and selfish.
Obama evidences symptoms of pathological narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill narcissism of a Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton for example. To him reality and fantasy are intertwined. This is a mental health issue, not just a character flaw. Pathological narcissists are dangerous because they look normal and even intelligent. It is this disguise that makes them treacherous.
Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great majority of blacks have also decided to vote for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially driven. This is racism, pure and simple. The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites.
The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash among the whites.
The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support. I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960's.
Obama will set the clock back decades... America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America , and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations.
It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House. America is on the verge of destruction. There is no insanity greater than electing a pathological narcissist as president.

Malignant narcissism
Otto Kernberg described malignant narcissism (also known as narcissistic supply) as a syndrome characterized by a narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), antisocial features, paranoid traits, and ego-syntonic aggression.
An absence of conscience, a psychological need for power, and a sense of importance (grandiosity) are often symptomatic of malignant narcissism. Pollock wrote: “The malignant narcissist is presented as pathologically grandiose, lacking in conscience and behavioral regulation with characteristic demonstrations of joyful cruelty and sadism.”[1] Kernberg claimed that malignant narcissism should be considered part of a spectrum of pathological narcissism, which he saw as ranging from the Cleckley’s antisocial character (today’s psychopath) at the high end of severity, to malignant narcissism, to NPD at the low end.
Kernberg wrote that malignant narcissism can be differentiated from psychopathy because of the malignant narcissists’ capacity to internalize “both aggressive and idealized superego precursors, leading to the idealization of the aggressive, sadistic features of the pathological grandiose self of these patients.” According to Kernberg, the psychopaths’ paranoid stance against external influences makes them unwilling to internalize even the values of the “aggressor,” while malignant narcissists “have the capacity to admire powerful people, and can depend on sadistic and powerful but reliable parental images.”
Malignant narcissists, in contrast to psychopaths, are also said to be capable of developing “some identification with other powerful idealized figures as part of a cohesive ‘gang’ ... which permits at least some loyalty and good object relations to be internalized.” Malignant narcissism is highlighted as a key area when it comes to the study of mass, sexual, and serial murder.
A president can’t benefit from changing the Constitution while he is in office. He would have to leave office, the Constitution gets rid of term limits through legal channels, then he runs again and never leaves. Unless he just ignores the Constitution, as he has done so far.

The first time I saw this "One" he was a newly elected US Senator. Instinct told me he was a Farrakhan goon. I might have been wrong about who's goon he was, what I recognized was evil.
A sarcastic statement, but there are some legitimate comparisons to be made between Obama and Hitler's Germany, as there are between Obama's governing ideology and style and those of many other authoritarian regimes. But Obama kept some of his more odious characteristics camouflaged during the last campaign, so the country was lulled into thinking that he represented something that he didn't. Obama's election represented mass denial on the part of his voters, who were too wrapped up in political correctness and not historically astute enough to see what "change" he really represents. In contrast to the Nazis, only a segment of his voters could be described as viscerally hateful. Hopefully, the backlash against his obscene health care plan will be his "Waterloo," as Sen. Jim DeMint suggested. (A comparison to Napoleon.)
