I was and still am not in favor of the massive Vote-Buying Bill, aka, the stimulua package. But, since it has been passed and now is so called law, the VBB has done absolutely nothing to get millions and millions of people back to work, doing real jobs and contributing to society in a meaningful way.

In my area there used to be dozens and dozens of knitting mills, making clothing of all types. We have heard the mantra about future infrastructure spending and putting millions of hard working Americans back to work. Well, folks, I think some of VBB money would be much better spent on the re-opening of these closed mills and installing the latest and newest equipment for knitting and dyeing and everything else that is part of the knitting process. Just construct new mills and sit back and watch the economy grow.

And, two other important and vital necessitties. Drastically cut corporation income taxes and enact, yesterday, a common-sense tax cut for all Americans. Sit back and watch the economy grow.

I predict that this is EXACTLY what will happen. There will end up being NO public option.

And this is not a good thing I assert.

They want their foot in the door. Next “crisis”, next chance, next trumped up something they can work on...and it’s that much easier to slip through the door.

For now though, I don’t think they’re going to win. Obama will get something, just something small so he can brag that he got something, but this year they won’t win.

Behind closed doors they’ll be high-fiving and low-fiving because like the jihadists they are, they are very, very patient.

Sit back and watch the economy grow.

That's not what they want. That's not the plan.

At least one lib issue bites the dust, albeit it slowly.

Yes. Bloomberg must have been just pandering for lib votes.

I will never understand New Yorkers.

FNS panel now talking about "historic" confirmation and swearing in of Sonia Sodamizor.

Cici and Mara fawning and drooling over the event.

I absolutely hate the cash for clunkers spending. At least the media could label it with what it really is, cash for engines.

Well, according to FReeper LS (the famous Professor Larry Sweikhart (sp?) who did all those reports on Fox and Friends about the left wing textbook bias), Obama doesn't care if he loses big in Congress next year as his plan is to make enough changes now as to keep them in place forever.

If true, then the next month is going to require us to fight a lot harder than we've even been doing so far.

Larry, I'll let you add to my interpretation of your theory if you wish,

Sorry to tell you this but it IS working to the Dems’ advantage. Obama’s polls have started moving up again and THAT will drive the outcome. Unfortunately for us, the Independent voters seem turned off by the discord.

Now that we have the media’s attention (even it IS tilted against us) I wish we could find a way to keep our voices heard without yelling and chanting. Yes, I know the left always got favorable coverage for their demonstrations. I’m simply dealing with reality. With no spokespersons and no real organization (we don’t want Republicans to lead us), how do we get heard without the dramatics?

I’m mad, too. These town halls only provide canned talking points. For example, they keep telling us “No one will lose their private insurance”. But the CBO said MILLIONS would. I get furious every time they say that and completely understand why the town hall attendees erupt in anger.

Sorry to be the skunk at the tea party, but our very grassroots nature is now working against us. The media can make up whatever they want in the absence of spokespersons and a consolidated agenda. I don’t like it, but that’s the way it is.

I think the only hope we have is for SENIORS to get stirred up. Nothing scares a politician more than a handful of angry geezers!

There's a Youtube video of them blowing up a perfectly good Olds Aurora engine.

What idiots.

Isn’t Bloomberg running for reelection this fall? In the manner of Chavez he changed the law or by-law that restricted a mayor to two terms. Of course, If a Republican had done that, it would be daily ‘news.’

It is time for a new internet abbreviation:

IARHDT

If a Republican had done that

Correctomundo, Babbah!

The entire plan is to destroy the economy and the country, so that we are all standing in food lines, hat in hand, begging for crusts of bread. In order to get help, you will have to toe the party line.

Anyone who can find ONE positive thing Obama has done will get congratulations from me. I did think his stepping up the effort in Afghanistan was a good thing, but I have been picking up rumors of changes in the rules of engagement and supply shortages. I am beginning to think that he is wanting a failure in Afghanistan that he can blame on the military.

Yes, he is.

I think he is nominally considered a Republican..I think the key here is “conservative”.

FNS
No mention of 0bama calling out SEIU, or SEIU beating up people at town halls, or of union goons being arrested. No mention of Sebelius telling SEIU to “keep doing what you’re doing”. No mention of SEIU calling the conservative black man the N-word. Wallace spent the entire show bashing the Americans who oppose government run health care.

All news that distracts from the disaster that is O will be touted by the msm.

Let’s not take our eye off the real issues.

Mark Halperin as a guest on Howie Kurtz’s show:
“I don’t have an opinion on this” [Obama’s Health Care Plan] - what a LIAR. He is an extreme leftist writer for TIME magazine.

I completely agree: there probably won’t be a public option.

While I like that result, like you I don’t think that’s the whole enchilada.

Obama will get his “Health Care Commissions” and they pose just as great a threat. They will control the flow of “official findings and data”...i.e., disinformation. And they’ll create a huge bureaucracy tasked with “filling in the details”. They’ll pretty much have a free field to convince the public of the need for the public plan.

So, we may defeat them on the public plan now, but Obama is setting it up to win down the road.
