ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin called President Barack Obama's health plan "downright evil" Friday in her first online comments since leaving office, saying in a Facebook posting that he would create a "death panel" that would deny care to the neediest Americans.
"The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care," the former Republican vice presidential candidate wrote.
"Such a system is downright evil," Palin wrote on her page, which has nearly 700,000 supporters. She encouraged her supporters to be engaged in the debate.
The claim that the Democratic health care bills would encourage euthanasia has been circulating on the Internet for weeks and has been echoed by some Republican leaders. Democrats from Obama on down have dismissed it as a distortion.

As usual her critique is very mild. Evil is a very polite term for what these Marxist imbeciles have planned for the demise of America and Americans.
I like her more and more every day.
ME TOO!

She is right, it is evil. It certainly will be used as part of the overall plan of control that the antichrist will use. Cant get any more evil than that. I pray that somehow it doesnt pass. if it does, we are definately screwed.
I'm relieved to learn that Governor Palin has spoken out on this extremely important issue and with her usual forthrightness that strikes at the heart of the problems with this socialist monstrosity.
Anyone elderly (or soon-to-be-elderly), disabled or with a chronic illness should be scared to death of this horrible plan that reads as if it were taken from the script of 'Soylent Green'.
Sarah Palin has, hopefully, put another nail in the coffin lid of this abomination. If America allows this travesty to become law - even 'watered down - to be quickly 'revised' - they have only themselves to blame for the misery that will follow. This cannot pass.
Oh, please. This is really a bit over the top. People who call our new health care system “evil” probably think the Soviet Union was evil as well.
The final solution for the elderly under the Obombakare Plan would be to ship trainloads of seniors to Yellowstone, tie a pork chop around their necks and let them wander off.
No fooling.
Sarah is spot on again. I haven’t read the plan (what plan?) but I know more than a few 0bamabots who think the disabled are a “waste of resources.”
She's free now to dog the weasel and his minions until election time.
I take it you're no fan.
I just contributed $50 to Mrs. Palin at her PAC site.
SARAH!
I have a chronic illness and can't get health insurance as an individual. The last time I was insured through my employer, the insurance premium was increased 25% over the original quote for EVERYONE IN THE COMPANY because of my chronic but cheap to treat condition.
I joined Palin’s Facebook page as a supporter back in late June. She had about 558,000 supporters then and now has over 698,000 supporters.
As I said in another post on this yesterday, that’s my girl!
Yeah you’re right. She should shut up and stay silent like Mitt to be taken serious. Are you serious?
Pray for America and Gov Palin
“I haven’t seen or read the plan, but Palin is going to come across as a wingnut. Dumping her job as governor doesn’t improve her imagine or advance credibility.”
For someone that doesn’t read much, know much, you sure like making suggestions. Perhaps you should reverse that, make no suggestions, read more, know more. Won’t be taken for a moron then, eh?
