Wildlife officials say a bear was found feeding on the body of a 73-year-old woman who had been repeatedly warned not to give dog food to the bruins that live near her home north of Ouray.
Colorado Division of Wildlife spokesman ...says the woman was known to feed bears dog food and would not stop, even after repeated requests from wildlife officials.
Sheriff's deputies investigating the incident killed an aggressive bear at the woman's home. A necropsy is planned for the 250-pound male to determine the contents of its stomach.

Some days you get the bear, some days the bear gets you...
very sad
Some days you eat the bear . . .
BINGO!!!! Obamacare has shown us how to deal with elderly medical costs!!!! BRILLIANT!!!!
It’s hard to find humor in this. The woman suffered terrible consequences— brought on by herself. But it’s not funny.
The bear doing Obama’s work.
We agree.
Not funny.
Stupid has consequences.
Only sad for the people who now have to clean up this mess.
Even lowest degree of common sense would tell you not to mess with a carnivore twice your size and 10 times stronger.
Obama has been researching this method of feeding bears with senior citizens as a two-fer.
1. It solves the problem of government health care rationing.
2. It is pay-back to PETA and the greenies.
How can this be? Bears are so cute and cuddly...
It’s all fun and games until someone gets eaten.
0bama would have had her just take the pain pill.
Mmmmm....What goes with old lady? White or red?
I thought bears can't eat fresh meat? If true... it must have killed the woman several days ago and then came back...
Yes, they do, as I said.
Sad, true..but how many of us are tired of the type of people who ignore warnings...and blow off the logical people..SHE WAS WARNED..she blew off the people who knew this could happen...”a friend of Bambi wouldn’t hurt me attitude”....
She also endangered the rest of the population around her home...all becuase she knew better than everyone else..
