I worked at home for a couple of years. I was much more productive at home. Unfortunately, some people are not very honorable, or are easily distracted, and ruin it for others. Some management is afraid of not having their people at their thumb-tip. More tools are needed to successfully manage and keep track of people remotely.

The companies that figure out technologically, and managerially, how to have a successfully distributed company are going to have an advantage and do well. Those managed by people afraid of the changing environment will maintain the old cost structure and not do as well.

For Defense issues, I hope they have good security.
