Peterson represents the district where I attended college. He was also the first Democrat to call on Al Gore to concede during the Florida recount fiasco.

Peterson also publicly deplored the nasty attacks on Katherine Harris. Bush tried to give him a post on in the agriculutre dept. Colin Peterson delcined the offer. Too bad. Once he leaves the MN-07, the GOP should pick that district up.

down 38 to go.
AS I’ve said, 255dems - 38 = 218.

One of Peterson's biggest concerns has been that the Medicare system pays less to doctors in Minnesota than it does to doctors in other parts of the country. Ok, I thought this was a good thing until I read this.
This is not a solid conviction...this is a monitary issue. Rep. Peterson is shopping for a concession. Nothing else.
All it will take is for Pelosi to pony up some more of the tax payer's money to change his mind.
Don't be fooled Minnesotans. Stay on this guy.

ObamaCare will turn Minnesota into Michigan as far as unemployment goes. Any Minnesota congress person or Senator who votes for it is literally guaranteeing unemployment for a huge chunk of Minnesotans. Naturally, Betty McCollum and Al Franken are all for this Obamination. Shouldn't common sense be a prerequisite for the house and senate? Apparently not!

I am soon moving to Rep. Peterson’s district and while I am pleased to see him wising up about health care, he still voted for cap and trade. If he is scared by the public discontent about health care wait until cap and trade raises electric rates 50% and then see what his constituents think.

After the idiotic statement Peterson made about his constituency recently, he knows he has no choice if he wants to keep his seat in 2010.

He is our congressman. Nice guy...seems very genuine...he stopped at my door one day years ago...introducing himself, before the election. If he hadn’t been a dem I would have voted for him. It doesn’t surprise me at all that he is voting against it...hopefully he doesn’t change his mind..and he knows he won’t keep his seat if he does. Our district is red.
Scott Hennen (1100 AM The Flag..conservative radio station..online also) has him on his show once in a while. I will plug that station...we love it! If you don’t know Scott...great guy! Mr Radio...owns the station..it is new in the last year or so...during the flood time with the Red River it was awesome!
