3. Freedom to choose high-deductible coverage...
4. Freedom to keep your existing plan...
5. Freedom to choose your doctors...

Why is this significant? Even some in the liberal media know he is lying.
This is an article that ought to be shown to Joe Six Packs and the elderly who think Hussein cares about them.
Give me catastrophic coverage plus an HSA. Return responsiblity and choice to the patient and the doctor.
Who let that through the CNN filter???
“2. Freedom to be rewarded for healthy living, or pay your real costs..”
They forgot this one..
“Freedom to do anything that big brother no longer deems healthy for you”
I can see it already “Sorry Mr eXe but you cant own guns because they could hurt you or someone else and that would drive national health care costs up”
Look at this concept. I think that, once of the reasons they will access our bank accounts, is that there is no insurance in the bill. Everything will be paid out of pocket, and for those who don’t have any assets, we will pay a percentage directly as a “subsidy” - remember, the health care costs, in the bill, are “not to be considered to be a tax.”
We will be robbed of our net worth and there will be nothing we can do about it.
Oh, we can do something about it...everyone close all their bank accounts....all of ‘em....
Remember this is CNN Money, not the CNN you see in the Airports preaching radical environmentalism and socialism.
Freedom... period. OCare is about losing control/ownership of your very life. You have no rights without ownership. This is the real crux of things. Not costs. Not what services are provided. Not standing in lines. Your most basic of liberties... lost.
If you have direct-deposit, how can you be sure that the 0admin won’t auto-garnish your wages for you, every two weeks? In that sort of worst case scenario, the only way to thrive will be if you earn most of your $ under the table.
Exactly. And to those who say that isn't practical, I ask, "Is surrendering your liberty practical?"
How much will anyone thrive in a slave state?
Freedom to be a law abiding citizen!
Just like the 55 MPH law, it will turn us all into law breakers.
Need that pain medicine today? Lets see, wait in line for 6 hours and maybe get a prescription? OR, Go to the corner of
Main and Front and see the guy with the blue hat.
Or, even to get an appointment this month you need to slip Mary the receptionist a $50. Wait, inflation will make it at least $100.
The problem with health care is our crooked government run by crooked lawyers. They are so busy stealing, and turning a blind eye to theft, that they can’t imagine how bad the bribery will get when they take over health care...
or maybe, that is the whole reason for the take over!
It’s from Fortune Mag, reprinted on CNN’s Money website.
This is an excellent article!
The pro-choice baby killers are anti-choice when it comes to saving your life. I’m shocked. /s
This is actually the best article on the subject I have read.
It doesnt go into hysterics, but it does point out some serious problems.
Rats from CNN abandoning the sinking ship? Never forget; they’re still rats.
"Just received a three-page printout from worldmag.com that highlights provisions in the 1,017 page healthcare bill. To quote:
..The government will audit your books if you self-insure.
The newly created Commissioner will submit a report to the government that includes "any recommendation the Commissioner deems appropriate to ensure that the law DOES NOT PROVIDE incentives for small and mid-size employers to self-insure." (21.23-23.3)
This is just one of 17 provisions that WORLD has summarized and posted to its website, www.worldmag.com, found under Washington's Prescription, The Editors, Healthcare.
Excellent material for information and hand-out. This is an absolute outrage.
Others: The government will define your "health benefits" ... will ration your care ... will establish and administer a public health insurance program ... will define how doctors manage their time ... will tax employers for not providing healthcare ... will tax individuals unless you are a foreign resident ... will order you to get end-of-life counseling and show proof ... will limit your hospital readmissions by penalizing hospitals ... will restrict coverage of special needs patients ... will not let you sue over coverage limits and costs decisions ... will mandate what physicians make ... will have access to your bank accounts ... will not call the fees it imposes taxes ... will issue you a health ID card ... will enlist or create outreach programs like ACORN to sign-up individuals in government-run plan; will create a new bureaucracy to include phone healthcare." References with page numbers and line items are given each provision.
6. Freedom to live your life the way you want.
