The St. Louis Tea Party will hold a press conference and peaceable protest at SEIU Headquarters 5585 Pershing Ave., Suite 130, St. Louis, MO 63112 at Noon Saturday, August 8, 2009
snip The Tea Party specifically requests the NAACP and the ACLU to come out in support of Kenneth Gladneys rights which were trampled by these hooligans. We call on Representative Russ Carnahan to denounce the beating. We call on President Obama to denounce the beatings. We call on St. Louis County to prosecute the assailants to fullest extent of the law.

Yeah, we should stfd and stfu so things don’t get violent. Wouldn’t want to risk anything for the cause of freedom and to stand up to brownshirts, now, would we?

No we need to make the SEIU the face of the Democrats. Start using Alinsky's rules against the dems. This fits several of them.
1. "Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have. Make them unsure just how prepared we are to take it to the street."
3. "Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. They are definitely not used to being protested.
4. "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. Call for the NAACP and the ACLU to join us
5. "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. Feign surprise when the ACLU and NAACP don't show up. Chant about how the SEIU beats old men.
6. "A good tactic is one your people enjoy." Self explanatory
8. "Keep the pressure on Self explanatory
9. "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself." If we can put one of these things together in a matter of hours then they will never know where the next tea party will erupt
13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Make the unions, with their history of brutish behavior and links to organized crime, the face of the enemy. "One acts decisively only in the conviction that all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other."

You can’t run from a bully or a thug, you have to stand up to them. I admire their courage and conviction. We have had too many people who want to back down.

"Somebody is going to get hurt or killed if this keeps up." Sounds like you've read the health care bill in its entirety.

Either fight for the Constitution or wake up in chains. I’m 6’2” and 190lbs you can stand just behind me, all you have to do is carry a camera.

Excuse me, Folks. I've missed the definition of these SEIU people. Can someone enlighten me; what does SEIU stand for?
To: Glenn

Its one thing to protest the government.
I think this is a bone-headed move and should be cancelled. Will you feel the same way when Obama's thugs are guarding all the polling places?

Kenneth Gladney was just acting Fishy. These poor union thugs were simply trying to find out what e-mail he received when things became violent.... /s

Im going I admire guts.
This is a brilliant move that has the sole pupose of humiliating the rent-a-mob counter-protestors.
Expect the worst - you are making an assault on their headquarters. Watch your back (and each other's back), even when the whole thing is over. Bring video cameras. Let them commit the violence in public, but be ready for after-event violence (but do not bring a weapon). Expect them to bring out their 'A-team' of lawyers/thugs/spokesmen/investigators.
Has the media been contacted?

This is a lousy choice of battle and I hope the grown-ups can talk them out of it.
I see nothing wrong with people gathering at the union's headquarters to protest their behavior. I'm sure that none of the protesters will be itching for a fight or battle. However, if the union thugs decide to act like the crips or bloods, there may be one. Self defense is legal.

I have many problems with protests at the enemy's headquarters."General Eisenhower, Berlin is within range of our heavy artillery, The Air Corps has 700 B-17's ready to go and all of our Divisions are rested and ready to attack!"
"Gulp...order a full retreat immediately!"

To the Local St. Louis Organizers:
I’m local. Are you certain you have enough physical size that will be in attendance at this event.
I have a conflict in scheduling, but if necessary, between myself and friends, can bring some real physical size on site.
