Items like place of birth, father's middle name, mother's maiden name, etc. are used by a lot of companies to verify identity.
It was never a particularly good idea, but it's a legacy that we have to live with.
The bottom line:
CONSTITUTIONAL ELIGIBILITY AS THE CONSTITUTION NOW STANDS!
This is a head fake. He is trying to pass a law for all citizens..when the only law that should be passed is for all PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES.

Right. I’d say any federal candidate - POTUS, VPOTUS, Congress critter.
FYI (posted again).

I’m sorry, I did my initial search on Will Espero and saw nothing, and now I notice I didn’t include him in my title either. Sorry. If you’d like to redirect us admin, that’d be fine.
Folks, feel free to engage in the TWO other discussions of this *same* article...blush, blush...sorry.

When I asked about it later in the year I was sent links to their murder, and told there were others that had information and not to bring it up publicly because their lives were in danger....Now our entire nation is in danger.
David recently confirmed information and said the female Dr who delivered him disappeared four years ago....IMO she's either in hiding or dead.
“Certainly one wonders why it has taken 17 months and we have still not seen a Long Form Birth Certificate that would be corroborated by hospital records.”

Right, and the Dim bulb leadership confirmed this guy, whoever he is. Shows you how much we can trust them! We all know that VERY well.
No problem was just letting people know it was out there.
We're working on it. Time will tell.
It is a blue state but if the right conservative leader came along, the Islands could turn red quick.

Interesting analysis - did you live there?
Yes. And still have connections there; travel there several times a year.
Guess what. There are laws on the books requiring us to show a birth certificate. Seems like Kalifornai mad me produce one 32 years ago. My entrance into Navy required it. Funny, all my security clearances required it. When I got my series 6,7, 73 and 25 sec licenses I had to produce a birth certificate for each one. No birth certificate, no license.

Well, can we talk about this? What if this applied only to federal office holders/seekers? As you say, you had to produce it for your clearances, why shouldn’t they?
He may indeed be eligible, but fears the political fallout, very greatly, from what is there ... or what isnt there.

Right. For instance, he may just be shown to be a HUGE LIAR on many counts - that can’t help his political capital, right? Is that’s all this is about - his ‘legacy’ after only 6 months in office? BWAAAAAAAAAHAHAHA...what legacy? Destruction and chaos?
It was never a particularly good idea, but it’s a legacy that we have to live with.

What was not a good idea?
why not?
When I asked about it later in the year I was sent links to their murder

Can you share those links - do you have them handy?
**There must be a typo here. This guy is a DEMOCRAT!!!!!
—Yep ‘Rats party affiliation is normally not mentioned by the drive-by’s. Guess maybe they’re looking to label this guy as a loon.

Or he’s got another agenda - as others here are suggesting. At the least, I think this continues to mount pressure on Obama to say, do something...if we can point to Ds also, and in this case a Hawaiian D, that thinks that his birth records should be public.
But I also agree with others here who suggest, can we then trust any sort of copy produced out of this kind of legislation.
I’m back to being glad that there’s not ‘bi-partisan pressure’ (I know, I know) on Bambi to produce what any public servant (like McCain) would have produced in two seconds if they weren’t mendacious LIARS.
Using information supposedly known only to a person to identify him.
A lot of (financial services) companies use "mother's maiden name" or "father's middle name" as an identifying token. The idea is that it's something that you will always remember, but that strangers won't know.
However, that information is included on many birth certificates -- and would be public information if a birth certificate was public information.
