YouTube Smackdown Thread #17 - PLEASE HELP! (Update in #235)

Well hey - it's August. We had a lot going on with the Smackdown Crew behind the scenes - vacations and absences and whatnot - but our numbers person has come thru with all the stats...and we're all questioning what they mean. Two trains of thought here.... On the "glass is half-empty" side, it seems that YouTube's response has been less than stellar, to put it mildly. We know that there are 10 users who have had more than their 3 strikes and yet they are still in the game. But if you're a Pollyanna like me and always want to see that half-full glass, we have a theory for you as well. The "ummah" on YouTube have been significantly less active. Our old friend JihadJane (aka about a hundred different aliases!) has all but disappeared. We may be succeeding in turning YouTube into a non-terrorist-friendly venue, which is a good thing. Hunting down videos for flagging has become progressively difficult -- we are finding that there aren't as many around. We ARE making a difference people! To date we have taken down nearly 39,000 videos and nearly 900 users!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! So without further ado, here are the numbers...
SIT/Juba/snipers (23) twitter (39) and resulted in 3 suspensions included below Ping (96) additional videos downed JSOTD - (18) vids SMACKED DOWN for a SMACKDOWN percentage since May of 2008 of 84.72% Individual videos 23+39+96+18+473 = a total of 649 hirabist videos removed from YouTube in July!
July 2009 Results:
26 Suspensions 
649 videos were removed from YouTube:
(large patches represent 25 videos, small patches represent 1)

If you're new at this, we'd love to have you working with us. Here are the steps for flagging videos: (H/T to rawcatslyentist) #1) If you don’t have a YouTube account, go sign up for one. You don’t have to use it for anything but this. #2) Click one of the links below, let the video start and then click the pause button on the player so you don’t have to actually watch the propaganda if you choose not to.. #3) Below the video, click “Flag as inappropriate.” #4) Choose “promotes hatred or violence” #5) Where it says “please indicate the group attacked” choose National Origin. #6) Where it says “provide additional information.....” type or copy/paste in the below statement.
Providing services to terrorists violates executive orders 12947 and 13224.

Oh, Good morning! Good morning indeed! We've been working on 19hamas73 for some time, and he is gone. Well, this username at any rate. He will have to re-upload his terrorist supporting videos and find all his friends again. Another reason to be happy is that YouTube saw fit to suspend a hamas supporter. Seems hamas videos are generally a o-kay with YouTube and very difficult to take down. Good riddance 19hamas73.

Done.
By now, it should be clear that YouTube has a responsibility to refuse to post these kinds of videos. People are being killed because of these messages. They incite hatred and violence. Conscience should tell youtube to remove such messages.

Amen kinsman redeemer! Everyday I grow angrier and angrier that these videos remain. Especially the “nasheeds”. They are out right calls to jihad, but since they are in arabic, they remain. By the simple act of moving the videos behind the age verification screen, Youtube has condoned the videos and thereby the islamofascists’ call to jihad. Outrageous!
