© 2009 George SodiniI have another subject I want to address for today's Gun Rights Examiner column, but a developing story demands at least acknowledgment. We're still learning facts concerning yesterday's shooting at a Pittsburgh-area LA Fitness Gym. No doubt the "gun control" argument will flare up anew.
For now, here's something I'm not seeing gaining much traction--yet. A website referred to (but not linked to) in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review account for the gunman, George Sodini. I see as I'm composing this The Pittsburgh Channel.com is confirming the website is real.

UPDATE: The Sodini website has been removed. I have copied it into a Word document. Because no one else deserves to be his victim, I have indicated where I have removed full names. I have also had to remove certain words that Examiner publishing standards will not allow, and have so indicated where that was done. Otherwise, the document is unchanged.

I don't think so. He refers the "s&&&ty Obama economy". I don't think he supported anyone. He was lost - a long time ago.
It seems like he was an Obama supporter.
I know a bodybuilder who used to be angry all the time because he couldn’t get dates. It irritated the hell out of him that my scrawny butt could get dates and a “real man” like himself couldn’t.
Over the years I told him again and again and again that most women weren’t impressed with the bodybuilding thing and that he just needed to be happy with himself. He finally figured it out and said he was dropping the body building and would just try to keep in shape.
I saw him a few years ago. He was probably 30lbs overweight, married to a gorgeous woman, and grinning like an idiot.
Yeah his support of Obama seemed pretty soft at best.
People need to realize that self-defense is a personal responsibility.
Women have this weird rule that you must talk to them before they'll consider a relationship.
I took it a resignation to Obama's election. Not that he was happy about it but just didn't care.

It seems like this guy had fallen into the woe is me mindset and couldn’t dig himself out. When you repeat a pattern for so long, even a negative one, it becomes a comfort.
He just grew way too comfortable sitting back and whining rather than attempting to do something. This happens a good bit with other things too.
I know I was living in this apartment and I hated it! It was small, my nieghbor was a weirdo, and my air conditioner never worked it seemed. But when I moved, I missed that crappy place.
