St. Martin’s to Publish Mitt Romney Book [The Conscience of a RINO] [barf alert]
The New York Times ^ | 2009-08-05 | Motoko Rich

Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts and an early likely contender for the 2012 Republican nomination for President, has signed a deal with St. Martin’s Press to publish his book next March.

Titled “No Apology: The Case for American Greatness,” the book outlines what appears to be a campaign platform: Mr. Romney’s views on how to create a stronger economy, military and families, and his vision on jobs, education, health care, energy and citizenship. The manuscript is currently 304 pages.

If this jerk somehow wins the nomination, I will not make the mistake I made with both Arnold and McCain, I will vote my conscience, anyone else who actually represents me.

Barf is right.

We will know that the GOP is serious in its left leanings if they nominate Romney.

The guy see saws back and forth quicker than a lumberjack.

Hey Romney first I was for your views, but that was before I was against them. Oh never mind just keep your sorry butt home.

I just won’t vote. I’d rather stay home then go to the polls and vote for the Republican version of Obama. NO THANKS. All I need to know about Mitt Romney is Romneycare, which is just as bad as DeathCare

You all are following the dems’s playbook on how they ridiculed and dismissed/distorted this fine man’s abilities. Voter fraud in NH and control of the media saw to it that the lesser candidate went against The One.

The country would be in better hands today if he were the candidate and had won. Too bad we missed the opportunity to see him debate Obama.

Now I would just like to see him stand up and start shouting about protecting our Constitution and our Liberties. The hell with considering any future poitical positions! We need him to stand up and start shouting! We need SOMEONE to stand up to the Socialists! Maybe that’s what Sarah has in mind...

Oh cram it. When Romney apologizes for the abortion called Romneycare, then we can talk about his fine abilities.

If voters in Mass. elected Mitt.. then there is definitely something WRONG with Mitt Romney..

Considering who and what mass voters elect.. Mitt has ten foot pole marks all over him..

cram it, huh?

Romney set up a program that was quite different than what the MA senate and house turned it into, and his totally inadequate successor Patrick reversed all his budget cuts within 2 days in office and then mangled healthcare into another Big Dig . But I guess you know so much more about it, coming from Nevada and all.... /s

I look forward to his book and seeing more of him. If you like the current (hah) crop of Republicans that speak for you, then I guess we have nothing more to discuss.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have Romney in the Colin Powell Republican column.

Nice title for his book, but not a leg tingling title. :)

Romney could have salvaged his political career by repudiating all his past mistakes, but he refuses to take the route of truth about his past policies as a governor and as a business man.

Of Romneycare, Romney could have said, "It looked good on paper. In reality, it turned out to be an economic disaster and a medical nightmare for all the people affected." Rather than speak the truth about this past mistake, Romney is half-way supporting Obamacare and offering a RINO compromise.

On outsourcing and offshoring, Romney could have said, "It looked good on paper. Many of us privileged elitists made gazillions of dollars selling out our neighbors to foreign enemies. In reality, the profits were short-term gains, and the whole economy tanked as a result of our Free Traitor activities." Instead, Romney wants more opportunities to sell us out for the last few drops of our blood.

On open borders for illegal and visa workers, Romney could have said, "It looked good on paper. I and my elitist friends saved gazillions of dollars using foreign slave and cheap labor. In reality, our demand for cheap labor has created slaughter on our highways, much higher violent crime rates in our neighborhoods, and wrecked our economy for the long term." Instead of telling the truth, Romney is still supportive of open borders, cheap foreign labor, and the destruction of American jobs and the overall economy.

Free Traitors, such as Romney and his RINO friends, can easily afford to change their ways, repudiate their treasonous activities and the resulting disasterous effects on our economy, and start supporting a pro-American economy for American citizens.

They do not, and therefore they deserve no further support from Americans in any of their endeavors.

I seem to recall Romney signing the bill. I don’t remember, was he for or against abortion when he signed it?

He must have spent too much time with Flipper — the junior Senator from MA.

“O’Romney” has no business in the 2012 and I will vote with my conscience again, hopefully Palin will re-appear on the ticket

[Romney set up a program that was quite different than what the MA senate and house turned it into,]

He just came out and gave his Romneycare plan an ‘A’ about two weeks ago. So your “Romney can do no evil” apologetics have long worn thin. Romney is not God and this is not his planet.

The Mittens Was A Victim excuse.

I love it.

Staford, Harvard Law and MBA, self made( supposedly ) millionaire, supposed Hero of the Utah Olympics federal bailout, more or less lived in New Hampshire for four years in as much as the Boston media broadcasts into New Hampshire, which is about 40 minutes driving time from Boston.........and .....Mitt.....got snookered by an old elderly guy.

And in the case of Romneycare which just last week in his OWN editorial he claims is his, unless of course he claims it isn’t his. Anyways, this best and brightest said he got snookered by a bunch of drunk Irish high school/collage drop out legilatures....AND...he wants to be President?

Excuse me?

Mitt is totally done. Stick a fork in this first Mormon President. He’s too culturally clueless to know.

Lastly, if America is so great, how come no Romney has ever worn the uniform? Not one Romney, since they came to the US BEFORE THE CIVIL WAR, has ever served. To busy being Mormon royalty and making money.

The book is undoubtedly undergoing final revisions - heck it will probably have changes for every different printing!

If Mitt were interested in protecting our Constitution and Liberties he would never have created Romneycare, been opposed to assault weapons, not supported pro choice initiatives...

Get the picture.

It wasn't the Dems or anyone else who “distorted” Mitt, he did a fine job on his own.

You bought a brochure...
