We no longer have a representative government. The rat party has bought enough constituents with taxpayer money - thus ensuring their continued power and allowing them to do as they damn well please.
See my tag line.
no one with a suit allowed.
I can just imagine the streets outside lined with people holding signs reading “You can’t hide from your constituents”.
You are absolutely correct. The imperial representatives no longer hear us. However, those constituents that they bought will. We need to identify them and choke off all funding, purchases or support and let them know why. IMHO, that’s where we should be putting the bulk of our efforts at this point. Who and what institutions are supporting these people, out ‘em, and put them out of business.
You might tell this POS since you are paying for it you expect the invitation to be there.
Talking about sh*t> Did you know that Steny Hoyer in Pustan means “full of camel sh*t”?
Hiding behind sick people I see!

Healthy Difference on ‘Today’s THV at 5’: The Health Care Debate in AR
A health care discussion in Little Rock turns into a heated debate with residents and a Democratic congressman.
Most of the 300 people inside came to voice their strong opposition to the health care reform being talked about in Congress.
Congressmen Vic Snyder and Mike Ross participated in the listeneing forum that lasted well over the one-hour alloted.
Snyder says he feels the issue involves 3 sets of people, the uninsured, the underinsured and those insured, but whose plans may not be sustainable.
Ross cited statistics that the U.S. spends more on healthcare than any other country, yet ranks 19th in efficiences.
Many in the audience applauded the leader of the Blue Dogs’s stance of voting down previous health plans. He assured Arkansans that he would vote against any bill that supports illegal immigrants, federal money that would allow for abortions or a plan that wouldn’t allow for residents to keep their current doctor.
The bill has 10 more legislative votes before anything is set in stone. It looks like that won’t happen until September.

An unruly Little Rock crowd heckled and shouted at two Arkansas Democratic congressmen Wednesday, accusing them of supporting a government-backed health plan that would take away Americans personal choice and freedom.
At one point, U.S. Rep. Mike Ross sat with his head in his hands while the crowd shouted. He and fellow Democratic Rep. Vic Snyder told audience members at a forum at Arkansas Childrens Hospital that they wouldnt support a completely government-run, single-payer health insurance plan.
But thats what Obama wants! an audience member shouted, leading to more heckling.

They don’t want to face their contituents because they aren’t very popular right now and they aren’t use to that.

Ive said this several times but let me see if I can make it a little more clear, Ross said. I dont represent Speaker (Nancy) Pelosi or President Obama or (House Finance Committee Chairman) Barney Frank. I represent the people of Arkansas and Im not voting for any bill that forces any one plan on anyone, period.
Many audience members cheered loudly when Ross said he wouldnt back anything that would provide federal funding for abortions or pay for health insurance for illegal immigrants.
But some were skeptical about the intentions of President Obama and Democrats in Congress.
Colleen Shoemaker of Bauxite apologized to the congressmen for being out of line and heckling them during the forum. She said the government was taking away Americans rights.
At this point in my life I have never seen my America turn into what it has turned into, she said. And I dont think that representatives and senators are going to be able to (pass a plan that preserves personal freedom). Im scared.
Though much of the crowd opposed Obamas plan, there were a few supporters.
Im a huge Obama fan, college student Jacob Kauffman told the crowd, which responded with a smattering of applause and a few chants of Get a job.
Kauffman continued, I was at mad at (Ross and Snyder) for not standing up for stronger health care reform. But after seeing this crowd tonight, Im pleased with seeing what you have done. Ive rather have you two overlook my health care plan than any private insurance bureaucrat any day.

Or a polo or a T-shirt. I didn’t see anyone with a suit at those town hall meetings.
Definitely calls for a FReep.
Yeah, they really care about what the people want alright....
Our forefathers would have.
Our US military men died on far away battlefields for us to be able to meet and confront our elected leaders if necessary. What is this, VENE-frikkin-ZUELA?
They would spin in their graves were they to learn how we are now being disrespected.
Definitely calls for a FReep.
Hmmm! Only 20-min from me...I guess I could go and call him a scum-sucking commie POS again....It has been about five years since our last confrontation...
