OBAMA BIRTH CERTIFICATE SPOTTED IN BOGUS MOON LANDING FOOTAGE
August 5, 2009

Tardy though they are, we welcome MSNBC to finally joining every major conservative news outlet -- including Fox News, The American Spectator, Human Events, National Review and Sweetness & Light -- in discrediting the idea that President Obama wasn't born in this country and, therefore, is ineligible to be president.

Now the big question: Was Joe Biden born on this planet?

Inasmuch as the "birther" movement was hatched in the station wagon of MSNBC's favorite left-wing fantasist, Larry Johnson, maybe the mainstream media can stop acting as if it's a creation of the Republican National Committee.

Which party contains 99 percent of the people who believe (or believed):

-- O.J. is innocent;

-- Bush shirked his National Guard duty;

-- Sarah Palin's infant child, Trig, was actually the child of her daughter;

-- Justice Antonin Scalia threw the 2000 election to Bush so that his son could get a legal job with the Labor Department;

-- The spectacularly guilty Mumia Abu-Jamal was framed;

-- The Diebold Corp. secretly stole thousands of Kerry votes in 2004;

-- Duke lacrosse players gang-raped a stripper;

-- Bill Clinton did not have sex with "that woman";

-- Heterosexuals are just as likely to contract AIDS as gays;

-- John Edwards didn't have an affair with Rielle Hunter;

-- John Edwards' campaign aide Andrew Young is the father of Rielle Hunter's child.

And as has been recently noted, a 2007 Rasmussen poll showed that 35 percent of Democrats believe Bush knew about the 9/11 attacks in advance, while 26 percent aren't sure ...

Holy mackerel.

Another favorite MSNBC guest, Janeane Garofalo, believes Enron's Ken Lay faked his own death. It's weird that Keith Olbermann didn't ask her about that when she was on his show a couple of months ago, given his sudden interest in stamping out conspiracy theories.

Also trying to revive his failing TV show, MSNBC'S Chris Matthews has been denouncing the birthers on "Hardball" nightly and demanding that every elected Republican who appears on his show do the same.

How many times has Matthews forced Democratic officeholders to denounce Al Sharpton for the Tawana Brawley hoax? Or for that matter, how many times has he forced Sharpton -- a frequent guest on his show -- to admit the case was a fraud?

Sharpton has veto power over all Democratic presidential candidates. Even Al Gore, a former vice president of the United States, was required to kiss Sharpton's ring.

If there ever comes a time when Republican presidential candidates have to get the blessing of the head of the birther movement to run, I'll say: I'm wrong -- Republicans do have as many conspiracy nuts as the Democrats.

Not content with merely humoring their nuts, Democratic officeholders promote conspiracy theories themselves.

OK, right now that’s opinion.

What I was asking was what has Ann done to say she doesn’t care about the Constitution?

Are you’all saying if we don’t agree with you on the BC question we don’t care about the Constitution?

And, if I should question one of his birth stories, shouldn't I question all of his birth stories?

Yes you should.

Keep up the good work.

She’s using Alinskyite tactics on those who simply want to see it proven that one of the simplest provisions of the Constitution is being upheld and defended.

For sake of discussion, let's say she is.

Does that mean she doesn't care about the Constitution?

"Couple of peas in a pod for my money."

In that context, is she beholden to Rupert Murdock for her fame?

Ann sold us out. She's turned on us and gone to the dark side.

Perhaps she was a phony all along or perhaps it a menopause thing. Whatever her deal is it is very disappointing.

LOL, I think you are having a Manic Episode.

Take two underlines and call me in the morning.

How is that opinion? - Are you going Ginsburg on us?

Well, I know there are quite a few here that are totally fascinated by her skinniness!

I do not belong to that category. To me she looks like an even more skinny individual than Twiggy!!

With that said, seems she is lacking some nutrients in her brain as well!!!

Did you see her calling you "dirty" names on FOX last week, huh???

Does that mean she doesn't care about the Constitution?

In this case, yeah. No one has seen proof that Obama is qualified as per the Constitution. To ridicule those who simply want proof of something so important is to show a disregard not only for the Constitution, but for patriots who actually care about sworn oaths to the same. She's attacking the document and those who defend it. It's disgusting.

But, I have to say I'm mystified, as to why the birth certificate has become such a mantra, for people who want to find out whether Obama is eligible for office or not.

That is simple. He is hiding it. No politician hides information about themselves unless it is damaging. There aren't many things about a BC that could be damaging.

His own statements and facts surrounding the circumstances of his birth make his eligibility murky at best. No wild goose chases or Axelrod-orchestrated games of "Where's Waldo" necessary.

That aspect is not as simple. Precise legal definitions of "natural born" have to be understood and a fair amount of legal history has to be researched and understood. You yourself had to couch your statement with "murky at best" in order to be intellectually honest and accurate about it. You and I have done our homework and cleared away most of the murkiness. Most of the public is still months behind FR on those technical issues.

Everyone (except the lick spittles and 0bamunistas) understands that hiding things is a big red flag.

My point is that she should have said nothing

Yes, you have made your point several times on this thread.

You don't agree with her writings, so she should not write.

Mark Levin is a birther, not Obama’s but Nancy Pelosi’s.
Thinks she is from Mars. Wants to see her BC to make sure.
Just cracked the joke on his show to get Media Matters to quote him.

I find it odd that Ann would dis her very own base, and that’s what I believe she is doing...

Oh, I don't think that's it.

But an inadvertent culling, maybe.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. This article from Salon (http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2009/08/05/birther_faq/) indicates that 11% of the population believe Mr. Obama was born outside the United States. (I do not fall into that category.) And another 12% are unsure of the location of his origin. (I do fall into that category, though I give Mr. Obama the benefit of the doubt.) That is somewhere between 11% and 23% of the population that Sudetenland is denigrating with his callous remarks. Mr. Obama could clear this up easily, but refuses to do so. How odd that he would thumb his nose at nearly a quarter of the population. This is not a conspiracy theory by a handful of "kooks" and making it out to be so, at least in my opinion, is self-deprecating on Sudetenland's behalf.

Ann’s right, this wont go anywhere....why keep pushing? Listen, truth be told obummer could have been the grandson of Khrushchev, born in Russia, and it would not matter to the average yokel in the US. Gotta pick your battles.
