OBAMA BIRTH CERTIFICATE SPOTTED IN BOGUS MOON LANDING FOOTAGE
August 5, 2009

Tardy though they are, we welcome MSNBC to finally joining every major conservative news outlet -- including Fox News, The American Spectator, Human Events, National Review and Sweetness & Light -- in discrediting the idea that President Obama wasn't born in this country and, therefore, is ineligible to be president.

Now the big question: Was Joe Biden born on this planet?

Inasmuch as the "birther" movement was hatched in the station wagon of MSNBC's favorite left-wing fantasist, Larry Johnson, maybe the mainstream media can stop acting as if it's a creation of the Republican National Committee.

Which party contains 99 percent of the people who believe (or believed):

-- O.J. is innocent;

-- Bush shirked his National Guard duty;

-- Sarah Palin's infant child, Trig, was actually the child of her daughter;

-- Justice Antonin Scalia threw the 2000 election to Bush so that his son could get a legal job with the Labor Department;

-- The spectacularly guilty Mumia Abu-Jamal was framed;

-- The Diebold Corp. secretly stole thousands of Kerry votes in 2004;

-- Duke lacrosse players gang-raped a stripper;

-- Bill Clinton did not have sex with "that woman";

-- Heterosexuals are just as likely to contract AIDS as gays;

-- John Edwards didn't have an affair with Rielle Hunter;

-- John Edwards' campaign aide Andrew Young is the father of Rielle Hunter's child.

And as has been recently noted, a 2007 Rasmussen poll showed that 35 percent of Democrats believe Bush knew about the 9/11 attacks in advance, while 26 percent aren't sure ...

Holy mackerel.

Another favorite MSNBC guest, Janeane Garofalo, believes Enron's Ken Lay faked his own death. It's weird that Keith Olbermann didn't ask her about that when she was on his show a couple of months ago, given his sudden interest in stamping out conspiracy theories.

Also trying to revive his failing TV show, MSNBC'S Chris Matthews has been denouncing the birthers on "Hardball" nightly and demanding that every elected Republican who appears on his show do the same.

How many times has Matthews forced Democratic officeholders to denounce Al Sharpton for the Tawana Brawley hoax? Or for that matter, how many times has he forced Sharpton -- a frequent guest on his show -- to admit the case was a fraud?

Sharpton has veto power over all Democratic presidential candidates. Even Al Gore, a former vice president of the United States, was required to kiss Sharpton's ring.

If there ever comes a time when Republican presidential candidates have to get the blessing of the head of the birther movement to run, I'll say: I'm wrong -- Republicans do have as many conspiracy nuts as the Democrats.

Not content with merely humoring their nuts, Democratic officeholders promote conspiracy theories themselves.

But, I’m not on board with thinking that a birth certificate matters at this point.

What matters to me is that he is hiding it and many other documents. That should concern any thinking person who actually cares about our country.

I believe she's picking her battles.

My point exactly. Thanks.

Ann has suddenly become jealous of David Brock

I hope not. Her taking a position and name calling, all the while devoid of any facts to back up her statements, does not bode well though. It is expected that the People should question their government.

"Peggy Noonan is another fine example of a once fine conservative who lost touch with the people."

But she has been a registered Democrat for over 30 years.

Actually, according to Salon, only 89% of Americans disagree with the theory. 11% agree. That is more than 1 in 10. How many special interest groups are out there that can claim 11% of the population? What is the last conspiracy theory that claimed more than a tenth of the population? Defining 11% of the population as "kooks" is more self-deprecating than you perceive.

What theory do they disagree with? I said that 0bama is hiding his BC and the response was that 99% of Americans disagree with that. I don't think that is even a theory it is a fact.

Think of all the clashes, on FR and elsewhere, over immigration and trade policy. It's a pretty distinct rift, between internationalists and Constitutional strict constructionists.

Interesting assertion. I did not think of that myself. It seems entirely possible ... I'll have to apply that filter in the future as these discussions continue. Thank you.

Yeah, but she'll always be one of Hannity's "very good friends".

Couple of peas in a pod for my money.

Wow, nice dig in the first sentence.

For Ann to be on the side of the propagandists something must have happened to her mind.

How many of the hundreds of fake BC's did you believe were authentic?

You do know that anti-freeper sites and trolls here are leading a lot of you around and laughing their "Cranials" off at how well it worked.

Coulter didn't buy into that propaganda.

I think her point is more that the media is saying Birthers = RNC/GOP.

Clever. You want to present one shred of information? Oh, I can see from this thread you don’t have anything in your arsenal except derogatory statements. Pretty weak argument. Nonexistent is a more accurate term. Keep it up. The more people look at this issue, the more they see the glaring indescrepencies which seem to escape the likes of yourself.

By all means, keep the pressure on Obama. As I said before, every President or even Presidential candidate in my lifetime has had to deal with rancorous calls for disclosure, of school records, of medical records, you name it. And, Obama is not immune.

But, I have to say I'm mystified, as to why the birth certificate has become such a mantra, for people who want to find out whether Obama is eligible for office or not. His own statements and facts surrounding the circumstances of his birth make his eligibility murky at best. No wild goose chases or Axelrod-orchestrated games of "Where's Waldo" necessary.

" It is expected that the People should question their government."

And when people stop questioning their government openly, they usually have an IRS problem. Brock had one, and it got cured when he jumped ship.

Just documenting again your belief that anyone that doesn't agree with you should not speak.

???

cannot be sure if you agree with me or not.

specifically, if Ann did, as i reported, base her decision on this issue according to what she believed Hillary Clinton would do or not do, if she had information

was Ann making a wild assumption beneath her usual intellect?

and

I am not making any wild assumptions

what i know is this

1) the document(s) posted on web by Kos and/or the Obama campaign did not resolve this question

2) Obama has not released the document that would end this question

3) the question is important.

therefore i want the real, original (or a certified copy with a seal of the state of Hawaii) presented to the public in some manner....i don’t expect to ever see it....and i will not assume any reason why he won’t release it....but i know that he will not.

i will continue to ask for it.

he will continue to refuse.

you can make your own decision about what this means. but do not make any accusations about me or others like me who want to see it...please.
