BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. -- Several people were reported shot at the LA Fitness gym in Bridgeville, emergency officials confirmed for WTAE Channel 4 Action News.
The reports came in shortly after 8:15 p.m. that authorities were called to the gym at the Great Southern Shopping Center at 1155 Washington Pike. Emergency officials said as many as 15 people may have been involved, but their conditions were not immediately known.
Witnesses told WTAE Channel 4 Action News that the victims shot in the gym were in a class in the aerobics center at the time of the shooting.
Former WTAE Channel 4 Action News photographer Gary O'Data said at 9:10 p.m. that the entire shopping center was shut down. He reported seeing as many as 15 ambulances and at least 20 police cars.
Clerks at neighboring stores told WTAE Channel 4 Action News that they locked their doors as a precaution.

Dasaji, Peter Township here and this LA Fitness is my gym but decided last night not go....my wife got a text this AM from one of her buds...OMG did your hubby goto the gym last nigth, turn on the TV. My wife is still in shock today.

amen to that! It’s like the rash of men killing their wives,Scott Peterson as an example, instead of getting a divorce. In today’s society just do it mentality where every desire is suppose to be a God given civil right. If somebody doesn’t love them,kill them!
One would think if he wanted to get laid so bad, $100 or so would do it.
Agree totally with how things may play out. But this shooting is horrible. I am terribly saddened by this.
So so sad. My heart goes out to all the relatives of the murdered and the wounded.
i remember this very well... i was 19 years old... the day before the shooting, some friends i were at a Jack in the Box in San Jose, CA... as we were sitting there eating, i asked, "what would you do if someone came in here and started shooting at everyone?" at that time, we had not heard of any one "going postal" like that... and then the very next day, it happened at the McDonald's in San Ysidro... to this day i cannot listen to that Patty Smythe song that goes, "shooting at the walls of heartache, bang, bang, I am the warrior..." because that is what the shooting was listening to when he did the deadly deed."

I can only imagine. So many lives affected by this. Yet, we have no control of being in the right or wrong place at any given time. I guess not venturing into B’Ville last night kept you in the right place at the wrong time. ;)
Yes my own sloth did it! Thank goodness for good BBQ and a day where I was up at 5am, too darn tired to go. I was thinking of joining Anytime Fitness here anyways, Bridgeville is just too much a jog for me, well this seals the deal.
