TV warning

Anyone else in Southern Oregon hear the Tsuanmi warning--was just watching HGTV and it appeared across the screen. Just curious if this is a test--or a real warning.

Doesn’t appear to be any major earthquake activity on the world map, at least influencing southern Oregon.

There have been quakes in California ... yesterday though. Can Tsunami's be that delayed?
The website to verify if there is a real Tsunami warning for Oregon is jammed. It might be either way though....
To: thefactor
Makes no sense—the counties (Jackson and Josephine) given the warning are inland and not on the coast. I know there was an earthquake in the Pacific yesterday—but haven’t seen any news of one today.

Just seems weird to me that the warning would come on HGTV--unless it showed up on other Charter cable channels. If it's a joke, it's not that funny. Years ago one of our coastal towns (think it was Brookings) was devastated by a tsunami!
Thanks for all the info posted here already, especially the Noaa site--but nothing about a tsunami shows up on that site. Just weird!

I’m on a mountain ridge in one of those counties, I’ll go outside and look, but the ocean is about 100 miles awy.
