I applaud his no position on ObamaCare, but the guy is a Democrat and his vote is one of the votes that gave us Pelosi.
He needs to go.
At least he talks a good story.
I’ve had a chance now to look at his voting record.
This guy is more conservative than many GOP congress critters.
I don’t get it?!
He should be a Republicaan.
Interesting American Conservative Union ratings drop between 2007 and 2008.

Looks to me like Pelosi cracked the whip in 2008 and he said how high. Those numbers are so drastically different that it makes me wonder what Pelosi has on him.
I prefer he be defeated by a conservative Republican.
Me too, however, I reviewed his votes on On-The-Issues, and most of his votes would put some of the moderates in the GOP to shame.

I have become too cynical to believe any of them or to trust a word they say. Either side of the aisle.
Simply trying to save their own skin from where I sit.
I’m listening to him, so far he is making good sense.
I didn’t listen to the whole video, but I did notice that he said he opposed Obama’s Health Care Plan early into his talk.
He received loud applause.
Taylor has moved hard-left. That district should be sending a Republican who votes 100% Conservative, not a rodent liberal phony who votes wrong 3/4ths of the time.
Can we really compare Taylor to Phil Gramm? (Yes, Dr. Gramm was, in 1981, an original leader of the Blue Dogs who, when punished by the Democrat leaders with the loss of his seat on the Banking Committee, resigned from Congress, changed parties, and ran as a Republican in the Special Election to fill his own vacancy... and won, becoming the Tipping Point that moved what was essentially the One Party State of Texas in the Red column. (He was elected to the Senate later to fill the seat emptied when John Tower died in an small commuter plain crash.
This angry fellow (Taylor) carries the contagion of residual hatred for Republican "Fat Cats," left over from 1933 (and GOP opposition to segregation.)
He's no more a "Blue Dog" in the tradition of that name than Jerry Nadler.
