Japanese covering it now. Screen shot from NHK national TV about one hour ago.

My guess is the aircraft would land at Sunan Airport outside of Pyongyang in the afternoon (today our time) 4 August. The kowtow meeting, grovel, and payoff where North Korea will dictate terms to the United States, would then start in the late afternoon or early evening our time today, as it is about a 30 minute ride from airport to downtown DPRK Foreign Ministry. Now currently 11:20 a.m. Tuesday Pyongyang.

(Prince) Kim Jong Un (in charge of the girls in Pyongyang) done good on this one. He really jacked the Americans around on this one and got a good shakedown. Maybe good for another star from Dad for his KPA General's uniform.

I will wager the sellout was some kind of direct diplomatic venue for DPRK and USA to discussion North Korea receiving food assistance was the bribe. That is, if they dont go through with their request to demand US to have South Korea return Hwang back to the north for punishment.

Isn’t there some kind of like, law against private citizens negotiating with enemies and proscribing foreign policy?

It is a big circus, and the real losers are South Korea and Japan, who have had their citizens prisoner up there for many many more years than the two jailed liberal Democrat reporterettes from San Francisco foolishly treading near the DPRK border like college sorority girls high on Chianti. Clinton gingerly going in, making the kowtow (which will be understood all within the context of Asian culture by all neighboring nations), and then pluck two US citizens out with nary a concern for many more foreigners held captive up there, is going to engender great anger and jealousy out of Seoul and Tokyo, in my opinion). Those nations are NOT conceding things to North Korea in order to get THEIR nationals back, but were looking for the US to put massive pressure on Pyongyang to cause it to collapse and hasten regime change.

Oh well, North Korea gets what IT wants, and Bill gets a photo op, and the girls will be off to the White House for a ceremony with ZERO and AL GORE (I can see the pool photographers photos now), praising the living daylights out of Savior President Obama and graciously thanking The Great Leader for his benevolence in letting them go, hoping that as a result of this adventure, the US and North Korea could open up bilaterally and be good friends. Yuck! You can see it, this scripted play, now. And all of San Francisco will go back to saying NOTHING about the horrors of North Korea once this is over...even though Pyongyang will still execute Christians and keep others there captive.

You cant make this stuff up.

three to four hours earlier than I would have expected. well then, it’s settled. by noon time Pyongyang, (in less than an hour) he will be in the downtown area signing off on the deal with the North Koreans. Someone asked if private US citizens are prohibited from foreign policy...fact of the matter is, this is all approved and vetted by the State Department in advance, and signed off by Obama who has his daily intelligence reporting telling him exactly what is happening. any and all concessions worked out with North Korea will have been approved by Obama. i personally would expect those concessions to North Korea to be BIG, not merely stopping at a communique containing some kind of apology, but more than that, again, probably more increased foreign aid (food, medicine, what not). how’s that Mr. and Mrs. American Taxpayer??!

Now the American people can really sleep soundly knowing that “their bill” will rescue them from potential dreadful danger.

I could not even begin to imagine what the Obama reaction would be if North Korea all of a sudden decided that they were going to create an international incident, holh Bill against his will until they get concessions out of Obama.
