Same here. Why not throw in the USS Pueblo and it’ll be a square deal.

Tough dilemna for the women journalists: remain prisoners in North Korea or be released and grateful to Bill Clinton.

Shouldn’t gore be the one to go? They worked for him at Current TV. I haven’t even heard him comment on their imprisonment.

Bill could of said "Nope sorry, can't go. Hey, check with my wife....she's not busy."
Then again, maybe Bill is in on the plot to drive Hill crazy.

Amazing! Maybe they'll keep him?
Another thought: How would you like to be on that security detail?

I don’t mind if the rapist goes to NK. What bothers me is the thought of him coming back.

We suspected this on FR as early as three months ago and reported the rumors. It had to be either Gore, Clinton, or Richardson, or all three of them. And it was only a matter of time.
The State Department is very foolish to do this or approve this in this manner. We already posted the rumored downsides to any American official going up their to North Korea at this time, diplomatic passport or no diplomatic passport, diplomatic protection or no diplomatic protection. It was tied into their desire to, through a trade, get back to North Korea and execute Hwang Jang Yop, former secretary of the Korean Workers Party (highest level NK defector yet), being protected right now in South Korea. Again, I would highly recommend against such foolishness and such a trip at this time. There is going to have to be many people turning in their resignations over at State if this thing goes where some suspect it might foolishly and unecessarily go.
Now how about this group of liberal "citizen journalists" who ALSO got snagged by one of our enemies on a border to be used as a bargaining chip and place the United States foreign policy at a disadvantage: the Iraq-Iran border near Halabja the other day.
I smell a rat.
