Defense: As the failure of engagement with Iran grows more apparent, the administration that has talked very softly may be getting the mother of all sticks ready. Guess we need high-tech Cold War weapons after all.
Western intelligence sources have told London's Times that Iran has perfected the means to develop and detonate a nuclear bomb and is merely awaiting word from its supreme leader to produce its first one. Should the order be given, it would take just six months to enrich enough uranium and another six months to assemble the warhead. Time's up. Recently, and perhaps not coincidentally, Defense Department Comptroller Robert Hale asked for permission to shift $68 million in the Pentagon's slashed budget to accelerate our bunker buster bomb program by three years so at least four 30,000-pound bombs could be mounted on B-2 stealth bombers by July 2010.
Hale cited "an urgent operational need for the capability to strike hard and deeply buried targets in high-threat environments." He top U.S. commanders in Asia and the Middle East "recently identified the need to expedite" the Massive Ordnance Penetrator, or MOP, program.
On July 26, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on NBC's "Meet the Press" that "it is unacceptable for Iran to have nuclear weapons" and "we're not going to let that happen." The MOP is the perfect means to that end. Coincidence? We think not.

You can have the greatest weapons on earth, the largest bunker busters that ever existed. However, if you dont have a president willing to use them
their development was just a fun exercise. ;-)

Massive Ordnance Penetrator. Bring in the Spirits so the Iranian nuke plants can be MOPped from the face of the earth, negating or at least mitigating the nuke threat to Israel.

Zero and his administration is a classic example of the adage, writing a check their ass can’t cash. Okay, so, I mangled the adage.

Destroy one bunker, watch them build a deeper one. I suppose the key is just how long we can delay their nuke program, but I imagine our intelligence is never good enough to really answer that question.

Why doesn't Obama just have a hookah summit? I'm sure the Supreme Leader is concerned:
?President Barack Obama says he believes supreme leader Ayatollah ali Khamenei has deep concerns about the civil unrest that has followed the hotly contested presidential election there.?
