HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd told small business owners Monday that he will spend the month of August pushing for national health care reform while dealing with his own health care issues.
Dodd, who announced last week that he has prostate cancer, appeared at a round-table discussion at a warehouse in Hartford with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to speak to small businesses about the need for health insurance reform. A handful of protesters picketed across the street, holding hand-written signs with messages like, "Stimulate capitalism, not socialism."

They fear the people...and they fear the truth.
All the more reason to mercilessly hammer them over this monstrsity. We should all educate ourselves as to the specifics and then take that info to hammer them.
And if they cancel their meetings, then organize and take it directly to their offices.
Here is a link to the full House Democrat Health Care Plan in PDF. In Section 1233 E & F, pages 426-433, you find the part about mandatory end-of-life counseling for anyone over 65 years of age. Section 152 Page 50: All healthcare services will be provided without regard to "personal characteristcs" which is not defined within the document but is understood to include immigration status.
Section 224 b Page 125: The Secretary shall design and implement the payment mechanisms and policies under this section in a manner that (1) seeks to (B) reduce health disparities (including racial, ethnic and other disparities).
A lot more provisions now being documented at that site.
Donwload it, read it, study it, then hammer your reps over it and pass it on to all you know asking them to do the same.

Also, here's a large image of the Democratic (Obama) Health Plan chart-another Obama empty promise. This is the one the House democrats are censuring. Email these links or the image to everyone you know.
Obama and all those pushing his radical agenda are abject marxist ideologues. Their "fundamental; change" is nothing more than a destruction of the American free market and fundamental republican principle.

The biggest lie is calling it reform. Reform connotes improvement. If someone is a drunk then stops drinking and walks the straight and narrow, we say he reformed. If he goes from teetotaler to drunk nobody would say that he reformed.
DEFORM is more like it.
If you can control the language, you can control.
Not Chris Countrywide Dodd.
He should lead by example and consult with Jack Kervorkian about “end-of-life” care rather than consume precious resources that might better go to help somebody else get well.
Need a video of Zero saying “sometimes instead of getting surgery you should just take pain medicine”.
Dodd should take a pain pill and go away!
You people in Connecticut should be ASHAMED to have this disgusting POS representing you.
*I* have prostate cancer, for gawdsakes, as does virtually every male over 60. To use that as a sympathy ploy to get re-elected is simply despicable.
Throw the bum out.
I wonder, doesn’t his Senate health care insurance include cancer of the @$$h0l3?
He is pushing a plan that hasn’t even been written yet. Talk about selling a pig in a poke.
Well as a typical good Senator who is to good for normal treatment like all the rest of us would get under ObamaCare. This Senator goes off to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York. I guess nobody in Connecticut can do surgery. Any bets a private VIP room and private nurses. You any I get local treatment and a crowded ward under ObamaCare.
What a life the Senator leads.
