Red, I am the person who created the image of the BC in question. I made the JPEG so that it would be a quick download and provide information about what was being discussed. It was not meant to under-go a forensic proctological exam. The original picture was imbedded in a FLASH script and was not savable... I captured the image at the largest the fixed frame would allow in a PNG (lossless) format. That PNG image clearly shows an "E" in Lavender's name. However, the PNG file was 870K in size and would take a long time for people on slow internet connections to download—five or six minutes on dialup. When I uploaded it to my image sharing host site, it was automatically converted to a 70% compression JPEG of about 85K, 1/10 the size it was before. It would then download very rapidly. However, that process removed detail data from the file to get it that small. Among the details that were removed were the exact color and shade amounts for each pixel around the letters used to anti-alias them. The simplified anti-aliasing BLURRED the letters. The "E" sort of looked like a "K" and our minds want to make sense of blurs so the brain created a gestalt that looks like a "K."
