He even tried to learn Swedish;
“According to the memoir, Kennedy referred to the then 21-year-old von Post as My Swedish Gorilla, having misunderstood the pronunciation of her first name when he had first met her”
Gunilla is a Swedish name, Gorilla is an African animal. Somewhat confusing, isn't it:D
(Sorry for sounding trifle disrespectful, I do NOT think JFK deserved his fate. Even if some people here are critical of his actions and opinions, I think we all agree he was a democratically elected leader of a free country and that we also believe such elections are fundamental to true freedom, whatever their outcome)
How’s this for a novel idea....a book about women JFK didn’t have affairs with?
Fidelity, Democrat style.
useless without pictures!
We need more HB1 visas so that America’s airlines can get back in the black by hiring more Swedish airline stewardesses.
Also of note, Ben Bradlee’s sister-in-law, Mary Meyer.

I’m no fan of JFK.
My issues are that Eisenhower left him three military operations underway and he made a mess of all three.
Eisenhower had trained a Tibetan army which was in combat against the Chinese. Kennedy cut them off and they were wiped out to the last man.
Eisenhower had trained a Cuban army and Kennedy dumped them on the beach with Castro’s army waiting to round them up.
And Eisenhower’s team that had defeated the communists in the Philippines had been re-deployed to South Vietnam. Kennedy fired them and handed it over to his Harvard geniuses, and ordered the assassination of the democratically elected Diem. His remark later was something like, “oh, did I do that?”.
Three operations and three disasters.
The Kennedy’s, ALL OF ‘EM, are scum.
Oh, how I wish the person in question would have been Christine Jorgensen.
JFK set a bar that his nephews and cousins have been trying to match ever since - and not succeeding.
The “classy” Caroline must be so proud.
Everyone dont forget to look at yesterdays thread by

put that in the seach.
It had 12,135 views. I think BP2 explained all of this
very well. Makes sense to me....
