(Sorry for sounding trifle disrespectful, I do NOT think JFK deserved his fate. Even if some people here are critical of his actions and opinions, I think we all agree he was a democratically elected leader of a free country and that we also believe such elections are fundamental to true freedom, whatever their outcome)
Actually, there was massive election fraud involved in his win. In, of all places; Chicago. The margin there was enough for Kennedy to defeat Nixon. Democratically elected? Not.
To play amateur psychoanalyst for a moment, I think that people (men in particular) that are given to such voracious sexual appetites have deeper, more troubling psychological problems at play. And, as much as leftists liked to "shrink" Bush for eight years, the fact of the matter is their idols, Kennedy and Clinton, were both a psychiatrist's dream. Each were deeply troubled and emotionally disturbed men that exhibited character flaws in the extreme, JMHO.
There are several jokes about presidents screwing the country. JFK took it literally.
