I heard Malkin today on Gallagher's show promoting her book on corruption. What is more corrupt than usurping the Constitution? To her credit, she was more circumspect on Birthgate (not her 'issue') than in her column last December (http://michellemalkin.com/2008/12/05/truthers-to-the-left-of-me-truthers-to-the-right)

I think Arianna-style sell outs are sucking up to O because of the Fairness Doctrine threat. That will come if teh Kenyan wins on healthcare.

There is definitely something Obama is hiding. What it is, I don’t know.
Even if it has nothing to do with the eligibility issue, I think it’s clear that he has lied about something fundamental in his “compelling biography.”
It may be foolish to assert that Obama is not a natural-born citizen. time will etll.
I think it is at least as foolish to assert that there is no controversy about his background whatsoever.

that would be true if you considered O’Rielly to be on the right which he is not.

Rational side? I want BHO to come clean and show us the records he’s been hiding. Sorry, Salon, if that seems irrational.

Common Michelle, he admits to being a dual citizen. That should be enough, but of course, we don’t have many real men on the court anymore.

So demanding the transparency he promised is irrational?

What has the world come to when Franken is a US senator?

If Malkin doesn't want to make the BC her issue, that's fine with me. As far as I can see, she's not putting the issue down. Ann Coulter, on the other hand, really surprises me.
The Birthers are looking for the truth, and are trying to ensure that the Constitution is followed. How can a Conservative oppose that?

I though O'Lielly was an "independent". Isn't he always maintaining that facade when he attacks conservatives?

If this situation existed with a Republican President, do you think Salon’s position would be the same??

Same here. There are a lot of people trying to start fights among the right and I try to ignore them. In fact there are a few FReepers who are trying to promote those fights.

O’Rielly claims to have seen the birth certificate, but, has failed to prove he has seen it or to produce it.

The B/C issue isn’t about Coulter, O’Reilly, or the GOP. It’s about Barry being honest and open with We the People, which he is not on so many levels.

Classic case of good cop/bad cop.
Good cop = Coulter
Bad cop = birthers
See “Lethal Weapon” for refresher.

They did write some pretty scathing pieces on 9/11 truthers. I also remember some comics that skewered them fairly well. I think that counts since a lot of the 9/11 truthers were after Bush.

They are hedging their bets in case it’s hocum - don’t blame them - but no reason why the rest of us can’t keep going...
