Birthers Proven Right: Obama's Kenyan Birth Certificate Found

For about a year now there has been a great deal of debate about whether or not President Barack Obama is truly a natural born American citizen. According to the Constitution, Article 2, Sec. 1, “No person except a natural born citizen…shall be eligible to the office of president.” The Obama campaign and administration have always claimed that he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. A Certificate of Live Birth was presented by the Obama campaign showing that Obama is an American citizen[1]; however, Hawaiian law didn’t require Obama to actually have been born in Hawaii in order to obtain this registration.[2] This, among other things, has created a public outcry – from a group now referred to as “birthers” – for Obama to show his long form birth certificate, which would disclose information such as which hospital he was born in, who delivered him, etc. that would solidify the fact that he actually was born in America. The Obama campaign and administration have failed to present this document to anyone. Instead, they have been suppressing the issue using two tactics: hiring lawyers to defend him against the legal dilemma – such as lawyer Perkins Coie, who was paid $688,316[3] – and creating the ignorant propaganda, repeated by many liberals, that anyone who questions Obama’s eligibility is weird, crazy or racist. The liberal mainstream media has propagated the latter tactic through news broadcasts, such as Nightly News with Brian Williams, which incorrectly assert that Obama has proven his eligibility.[4]

Many have speculated that she was on the track of something but was either bought off or pressured off or both.

There’s a difference between quitting and cutting your losses. This issue is being used to discredit us more effectively than we can use it to discredit Obama. It’s time to jettison it. We have more places we can attack than we know what to do with, it’s time to leverage some of them.

Then go attack and leverage all you want somewhere else and leave this issue to those who know and understand the facts and gravity thereof.

Sorry. Can't agree. It only becomes a dead horse once LEGALLY verifiable evidence is shown. None of the "proofs" meets that requirement. And the issue is in no way comparable to the Vince Foster business, as we know precisely where and what the needed proof is---the long form birth certificate.

This is as simple as the head of the Hawaiian Department of Health issuing a NOTARIZED statement to the effect that she has seen the document, and it says Obama was born in Hawaii, or her going into court, being sworn in, and making a verbal statement to the same effect.

As to what anybody in the MSM says, I could care less.

There is much greater danger in not pushing the issue, as it is tacit complicity with an unacceptable lack of accountability by an elected representative, enabled by a complicit, deceptive and obfuscatory media that has long since departed from the only meaningful justification for news media to begin with.

And there are the legal questions if the issue proves to be viable.

All I KNOW is that no honest person would spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on legal fees fighting numerous lawsuits in numerous states when a simple $12.50 Birth Certificate would suffice.

When Kenya became independent they established a parliamentary system similar to the UK’s or Canada’s with a prime minister - Jomo Kenyatta. The head of state was still officially Queen Elizabeth II for one more year, and her representative in Kenya was Governor General Malcolm MacDonald.

If you’d really like to you could read the book “Malcolm MacDonald: Bringing an End to Empire” by Clyde Sanger, a bit of it is on Google Books. It charts Kenya’s year as an independent constitutional monarchy before it became a Presidential Republic at the end of 1964.

Now, as any good American should know, a Republic is, fundamentally, a state without a monarch. Therefore unless you are willing to suggest that the Kenyans (and the British) failed to realize this for a whole year then I really don’t see what leg you have to stand on.

Were you alive during Watergate?

The same claims could have been made at the time. That Nixon's enemies were wasting their time and making themselves foolish by pursuing a two-bit burglary conspiracy.

I recall reading articles for weeks which appeared practically on the last page of my local newspaper. High ranking officials by the dozens assured people that there was nothing there.

By the end, over sixty people were convicted of felonies, articles of impeachment were ready to pass against Nixon, and the President finally resigned in disgrace.

The key to Watergate was that the entire machinery of the federal government was put to work maintaining the conspiracy and most of the media were afraid to ask questions. Afraid, perhaps, of being added to Nixon's enemies list.

I would suggest that you first make your best determination as to what is the truth, and then dedicate yourself to exposing that truth; especially in a case like this where the information to debunk the conspiracy should be so readily available.

Most reasonable people would have thought it ridiculous to believe that Dan Rather would base his attack on George Bush on such blatantly forged documents. But it did happen.

It “tweaks” me, as you say, because people asked for the birth certificate, it was produced, and we’re still talking about it.

Well, then apparently you're confused as to the facts of the situation. Not surprising considering the media coverage.

What was "produced," complete with "Photoshop" EXIF tags in the datastream, was an image of a "Certification of Live Birth," as stated right at the top of the paper. It's a laser printout of computerized records.

And in 1961, there were multiple ways to obtain a Hawaiian birth certificate, as described in this article, requiring as little as proof of residence in Hawaii by the parent for a year prior to the birth.

If a birth certificate has been, in fact, produced as you say it was, then I assume you can tell us which Hawaiian hospital he was born in, the name of the medical professional who attended the birth, and the name of the local registrar who filed the birth certificate.

My son was born in Nizhny Tagil, Russia, but his birth certificate says he was born in Yekaterinburg, Russia. It was amended by the court during our adoption proceedings to make it easier for us to obtain a copy of it if needed, as the certificates are filed in the jurisdiction of birth, and Nizhny Tagil doesn't have an international airport.

And what's more, the documents effecting the change are sealed, and any government official faces criminal sanctions if they disclose anything about it.

1. If the Clinton's had anything that would have destroyed Obama they would have put it out there during the campaign. Like all the "leaked" photos of him in muslim dress and his connections to "the Chicago slumlord."
