Town hall meeting in perspective.

I just came from the Philadelphia town hall meeting. First off I am glad that there were more objecting to this crap. However, these people have their minds made up and don't give a spit about what we think. One thing I have to say is, I knew Sebelius was a nut job...but now I really believe she is evil! There was a man who obviously had some physical disability and he thanked Sebelius for her service...she gave him a courtesy smile then her face went to "stone cold evil" after he looked away! Such arrogance...the anger ran through my veins how 40% of Americans could be so clueless.

I found myself walking out angry as a 50 year old man was hassling a 75 year old man over abortion.I immediately walked over to the older man's defense because I had enough of the liberal bully tactics. The guy walked away quickly after he arrogantly turned towards me and realized he was about to encounter a PISSED 240 pound 6' weight lifter. He walked away as I pointed out "typical speech for anyone unless you oppose them.."

I felt the need to hang out with the elderly man until others arrived. What has this country come to? These people are arrogant and have NO respect for anyone but themselves! Sorry for the rant, but I need to repent as I was not happy about my actions, even though I meant no harm I too acted out of character when I saw this elderly man being picked on.

Final point to anyone reading this, please oh please attend these meetings whether you have the time or not....after all 2 hrs of your time could save the future of our country. Also, I ask for all reading to pass the word, starting tomorrow AM pray for this country before you get out of bed...first thing. Do this for 14 straight days. There is power when we all pray first thing in the AM.

If you want to do this please post below "I'm in" and this is what to pray for: -The leaders of this country will follow the God given rights that the forefathers intended for this country. -if they do not they will be removed and replaced with people that have godly principles and uphold what the forefathers intended.

Please it must be done for 14 consecutive days and before you get out of bed or speak with anyone.

Amen...I'm in here in Idaho with my reps, particularly Minnick. Everyone should attend and go armed to the teeth with info about this monstrosity bill.

Here is a link to the full House Democrat Health Care Plan in PDF. In Section 1233 E & F, pages 426-433, you find the part about mandatory end-of-life counseling for anyone over 65 years of age. Section 152 Page 50: All healthcare services will be provided without regard to "personal characteristcs" which is not defined within the document but is understood to include immigration status.

Section 224 b Page 125: The Secretary shall design and implement the payment mechanisms and policies under this section in a manner that — (1) seeks to (B) reduce health disparities (including racial, ethnic and other disparities).

A lot more provisions now being documented at that site.

Donwload it, read it, study it, then hammer your reps over it and pass it on to all you know asking them to do the same.

Also, here's a large image of the Democratic (Obama) Health Plan chart-another Obama empty promise. This is the one the House democrats are censuring. Email these links or the image to everyone you know.

Decmocrat (Obama) Health Plan

Obama and all those pushing his radical agenda are abject marxist ideologues. Their "fundamental; change" is nothing more than a destruction of the American free market and fundamental republican principle.

By Ron and Kay Rivoli

...and on the lighter side, take your mind off the Obamanation for a few minutes and enjoy some beautiful Western US scenery slideshows.

Some don’t care because even if they’ve voted out, they will be “well compensated” once out of office.

You need to hammer them anyway (even if it’s just for youtube segments which inspires others), but more important you need to hammer the “fence sitters” and even those who oppose the bill (as reinforcement).

"Sorry for the rant, but I need to repent as I was not happy about my actions"

Please, don't ever be sorry for coming to the aide of an elder.

"We, the People" must be equipped to distinguish and between the principles that would keep America free and prosperous and the false premises that will enslave her, as well as able to articulate them. Accommodating tyranny by failing to call it what it is is dangerous. We need a leader whose words are strong and courageous and based in the principles of our Declaration of Independence.

American citizens need to wake up to the counterfeit ideas and false "hopes" offered by politicians who use "promises," just as the rest of us use "currency."

They buy votes with "promises" in order to gain power to themselves and their ilk. Then, when "hopes" are dashed, "the people" they have promised to help (the naive, the poor, the ignorant--even the "educated" who are ignorant of liberty vs. tyranny) find themselves enslaved, working for those who have purchased their power in the most despicable manner--by offering "hope and change." Thus it has ever been.

The people who founded America were not so "dumbed down." Hear two of them:

"It is proper to take alarm at the first experiment on our liberties. We hold this prudent jealousy to be the first duty of citizens and one of the noblest characteristics of the Revolution. The freemen of America did not wait till usurped power had strengthened itself by exercise and entangled the question in precedents. They saw all the consequences in the principle [usurpation of power] and they avoided the consequences by denying the principle. We revere this lesson too much . . . to forget it." - James Madison

" . . . nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers, and destroyers press upon them so fast, that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon the American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour. The revenue creates pensioners, and the penshioners urge for more revenue. The people grow less steady, spirited, and virtuous, the seekers more numerous and more corrupt, and every day increases the circles of their dependents and expectants, until virtue, integrity, public spirit, simplicity, and frugality, become the objects of ridicule and scorn, and vanity, lusury, foppery, selfishness, meanness and downright venality swallow up the whole society." - John Adams

Further, it was not just the founding leaders who were well-informed about their constitution and approaching threats to its protections. By the Year 1830, when the French jurist Tocqueville traveled America, he wrote admiringly of the citizenry, observing that even the backwoodsman was far more well-read and informed than those in other parts of the world, and that they understood their Constitution, and had with them a Bible and a newspaper. Sadly, beginning in the mid-20th Century, our "government" schools removed the ideas of liberty from the nation's textbooks, largely under the guise of a counterfeit idea of "separation of church and state," and the citizenry is uninformed as to the difference between tyranny and liberty.

Today, with all modern means of communication, Americans possess little understanding of threats to their liberty and, thus, risk losing it to charlatans whose only goal is power.

Although a conservative, my representative holds telefonic townhalls. He “manages” the questions that way and limits input with no other public comment.

My Senators have never been in my county that I know of.

Good for you! Wish I could have been with you.

This is a problem with all the Democrats, not just US Reps and Senators. My local state representative is just as bad, and totally clueless. He came by our house in walking the district and he came across as totally sincere in his belief that wind and solar, backed by an active government, would be the answer to every ill we’ve ever had. I believe these guys are brainwashing themselves to an unprecedented degree. Admittedly, it’s worse with the “progressive” wing of the Democrat Party, but it affects all of them.

Good for you. I’ve been waiting for them to have one here. I just wrote my liberal brother that I was sick of these liberals racist remarks and pseudo-intellectualism unless you happen to disagree with them. They are nothing more than communists and I’m happy to call them that. My wife has written our congressman and Senators, and I just wrote Bill O’Reilly today about his trashing Lou Dobbs. I’m mad.

We’ll see if Minnick shows his sorry ass up in my neck of the woods (Post Falls, ID) on the 25th of August as his schedule shows.

I have questions and a video camera.

You get on him down south, Jeff, and I’ll get on him up north.

Good job, Mike.

“Disobedience to tyrants is obedience to God.”

The rest of us need to learn from this man’s example. For some of us, I’m preaching to the choir.

Thanks all. There were a few “freeps” there and more from the Tea party. I knew a few of them and it was great to see them.

I just want to let you know to keep fighting. I have three children and a great wife....I only spent a few hours there and back. It is worth it and I am finally at the point that I DO NOT care about what people think because if I did, then the intentions of keeping freedoms and liberty alive will die. These liberals or Marxists will not stop. They have “plants” in the crowd and that’s why you have to be there. I am all too familiar with their tactics...we were attacked when our school showed “That’s a family” to 3rd graders...this video pushed gay marriage and their agenda. We continued to fight and pray. It ended up on National news and eventually pulled from the shelves. Please folks keep it going even if your friends think you are crazy!! Even if they do not support you..

Remember, only 1/3 of Americans were for the revolutionary war. What would happen if that 1/3 listened to their “friends” instead of their hearts!

Please..PRAY and go to these meetings! Spread the word!

Thanks for going to the meeting. I saw a little clip on Fox awhile ago. Missed most of it. Looked like Specter had a hard time. Can you tell us what happened while you were there?

Will join in the morning prayer.
