I attended "office Hours" at an Austin Randalls, for Congressman Lloyd Doggett today, supposed to be 11-12:30.
Where do you go to find Doggett’s schedule of “town hall meetings?” I looked at his website, but couldn’t find anything about them. Would’ve loved to have been at the Bastrop meeting!
Also, does anyone know if there’s a conservative running against Doggett in 2010? Apparently, he hasn’t had any competition the last couple of elections. All I know is that “dog-gone lying Doggett’s got to go!”
I called his office, said there was nothing on his site, where will he be?
After the disaster he had on Sat. I bet he is not going to be scheduling them. They said that his schedule is soooooo hetic that they just haven’t booked anything yet. they will snail mail me when he will be in my area.
Time to go to his office I guess.
Call his press secretary every day until they tell you. I have some other strategies if you need them.
I just sent a young male friend of mine who graduated from UT a note on his facebook encouraging all his friends to vote out Doggett!
Can I tell them what I did this morning?
Richardson Town Hall Meeting Wednesday, August 5, 2009 7:00pm 8:30pm
Richardson Civic Center/City Hall Grand Hall 411 W. Arapaho Road Richardson, TX 75080
Irving Town Hall Meeting Wednesday, August 19, 2009 7:00pm 8:30pm Irving City Hall 825 W. Irving Blvd Irving, Texas 75060
I just happened to be walking into the house when he was on the local news. He said that “the protesters were bussed in and most didn’t even live in his district”.
I think it’s time for Doggett to be put out to pasture. He reminds me of that now retired DUmmie DA ronnie earle.
he has slithered back under the porch. he isn’t a big dog.. he’s a snake
Great idea
have a “party” at his office.
After I read he called y’all a “ MOB” organized by the GOP and Libertarian party I was shocked he is so stupid. Now he says he is more committed than ever to vote FOR obamacare. He needs taking down
A letter from him was read at our July 4th Tea Party. He said he was one of only 17 who had not voted to support all of this mess.
Louie is the man!
After the fact heard he, Kay Bailey and Rick were at the Hannity thing last Friday night here in Tyler.
I could sure go for Louie being our Senator.
NEWS FLASH:
I called Doggett’s office for my daily call with problems with this bill (I’m up to page 643) and the gal who answered the phone said, “the Congressman HAS read the bill”
I was surprised because just last week he had not and I’ve been reading it for weeks but now he has finished reading the bill?
I’m just stunned!!!! Or being lied to.
I report, You decide.
Are you being lied to?
Is the Pope Catholic?
Is water wet?
Does a bear c*** in the woods?
Give his office another call and explain to the secretary why he’s not getting your vote and about 12 others whom you’ve told about the lie.
These traitors need to be dealt with the way our forefathers deal with them—actually tar and feather them. Then place their fat @$$es on a rail and ship them out of town. Maybe they’ll get, finally, whose the boss.
Look on his website and see if he has put out a press release saying he’s read the bill. That would be interesting to see, because it would be on the record, not just the intern who answers the phone telling you.
The next words out of my mouth would have been, “So you’re telling me he’s read the bill _and_ he still intends to vote yes?”
They should read _The Logic of Failure_. And certainly they must be aware of the law of unintended consequences.
They think they’ll be okay because they have their “own” health plan and to hell with Federalist 57. Well, maybe they’ll be okay. For awhile. But there will be fewer folks going to school to become a doctor with capped salaries— and I don’t think there’s going to be a special classification whereby some can go to school to become a “doctor to the legislators.” Down the road, they too will face shortages and rationing, just not as soon as the rest of us.
Medical innovations? Buh-bye. That life-saving treatment for their future grandchild was never discovered. Medical innovation is expensive and there’s no place for it in a system looking at outcome based measures, QALYs and cost effectiveness.
I know, but was intending to type another word.
