A new life is started the moment a human sperm cell unites with a human egg. Sounds simple, doesn't it? A person can decide for himself, but he will need to follow along very closely to catch all of the details and carefully piece them together, just as he would follow a skillful mystery...

Ping!
Thanks for the ping!
To think so many people, including prominent Communists, care nothing for human life, including that of the unborn, who need the most protection and care.
“The only viable explanation is that these processes were placed by the Lord Jesus in the first parents, Adam and Eve, fully functional right from the beginning.”
And specifically what test or experiments can we show to support this?
A system like that will never work.
wow, that is fascinating, thank you.
And fun, too!
“Surprisingly, freshly-deposited sperm are incapable of fertilizing an egg. Many features of the sperm are changed by substances that are made within the female reproductive tract. Remember the sperm’s acrosomal body discussed earlier? One of the most important changes, known as “capacitation,” is when uterine secretions remove glycoproteins from the protective coat of the acrosome. This allows the erosive enzymes from many sperm (after contacting the egg) to break down a protective coat of cells around the egg and expose its cell membrane so that yet another sperm can make its way to the egg for fertilization.”
This explains why guys like football. :)

Huh? The processes in all other mammals are virtually identical. And not terribly different in most non-mammalian animals. Even yeast displays some of the simple molecular precursors of these processes.
Really. You could just as well spell out the reproductive biology of mushrooms, and then announce at the end of the spiel that The only viable explanation is that these processes were placed by the Lord Jesus in the first parents, Adam and Eve, fully functional right from the beginning.
There are some reasonably coherent scientific arguments for evidence of “intelligent design” in biological processes, but this sure isn’t one of them. Not even a distant cousin.
So are saying that reproductive processes and Rxn's are a result of random chance?
Why jump to that conclusion? There’s no more proof for the “absolutely nothing but random chance involved” explanation than for the “obviously Jesus did it” explanation.
What is 100% clear is that these processes did not come into existence for the specific purpose of “creating man in the image of God”, because the same processes are governing the reproduction of mice and bats. The notion that the description of the processes supports the conclusion that “these processes were placed by the Lord Jesus in the first parents, Adam and Eve” is just totally irrational. It’s like saying “The sun rises in the east, so obviously Xenu set the planet spinning”. There is no connection shown at all.
Tsk tsk. Logic on a GGG thread? How DARE you.
Yes, I know. I just have this compulsion to bang my head against a wall.
Please FreepMail me if you want on or off my Pro-Life Ping List.
Too complicated, never work for very long. Besides, how to connect the spirit/soul to the thing?
Random evolutionary forces easily explain this /s.
