In an open letter sent today to ABC President David Westin, Media Research Center President and NewsBusters.org Publisher Brent Bozell questioned the ethics of ABC as a "news" network and wondered "how in the world can anyone take ABC seriously" after it was announced that ABC News has hired Democrat donor Dr. Richard Besser to be their new Senior Medical Editor.

I never took ABC seriously anyway....or any of the other MSM networks. Even Fox has a big question mark for me.
I haven’t watched network news in years, and I won’t.

Why did it take the Cambridge police releasing the 911 and officer communication tapes to clear the “charge” of racism in the Gates case?
Why couldn’t Obama just take their word? He’s the guy who refuses to release his long form birth certificate for his criitcs.
And the Pravda Media keeps beating the drum.
The notion of megaphoning “today’s most important news” in a one-way 30-minute TV segment is an artifact of the 1950’s and about as interesting and authoritative as a wet mop.
Whenever I accidentally encounter one of these “World News Tonight” broadcasts I feel like I’m in some kind of 50’s time warp.
Local news is just as bad, they’d decided to act like clowns and jesters, sprinkled with occasional 3-minute news readings.
My wife watches network news in the AM while she is getting ready for work. I can hear her yelling “LIAR” at the news readers, and other rather uncomplimentary remarks as well.
We get up Mon-Fri at 3:30 AM. I go to the front room to the ‘puter, and open up FR for my news and information, while she turns on the TV in the bedroom and listens to their BS.
She knows what’s really happening as she sits with me in the evenings while we go throughout FR. Actually she is responding often under the name of rockinqsranch herself, so it isn’t that she is having the wool pulled over her eyes by the MSM.
I think she just likes to yell at them, and also likes to keep abreast of their baloney.
OOPS! I forgot to address the fact that I’m with you. I don’t watch, and won’t watch the network news either. I see it once in awhile as I talk to my wife in the other room while she has it on, but I won’t sit down and watch it as in turn on the television and voluntarily watch it. I won’t even watch other propaganda programming on the TV either.
