So let us now turn our attention to an item in yesterday's Daily Times Herald in Carroll, Iowa entitled "Carroll woman's answer to highly visible Obama: Selling her televisions."
A 78-year-old Carroll woman says she's so tired of seeing President Barack Obama on the airwaves that she's selling her television sets - two of them.
Deloris Nissen, a retired nurses' aide and former Kmart employee who was raised on a farm near Audubon, placed a classified advertisement with The Daily Times Herald for Friday's paper.
In the $5.50 ad, Nissen tells readers she has two television sets for sale.
The reason: "Obama on every channel and station."

That's easy. We call it an "high-resistance air connection."
Maybe she should buy a Japanese television....
Less Obumbo but she would have to translate everything..
A possible successor to ‘Dan’s Bake Sale’; ‘Deloris’ TV Sale’
“A 78-year-old Carroll woman says she’s so tired of seeing President Barack Obama on the airwaves that she’s selling her television sets”
She’s a racist obviously.
LOL! Best laugh of the day so far when I saw that headline in “Breaking News”...

Unfortunately, the Secret Service will probably be there to investigage this woman any minute, and she’ll be charged with thinking about threatening thoughts to the 0bama.
A three-fer. Get rid of propaganda machine, reduce revenue for hollyweird, and send up some toxic fumes for the enviroweenies!
Brilliant!
"I'm an old lady, and I don't care," Nissen said.
Whoops, looks like someone is due for their "end-of-life" counseling.
obviously a racist.
I know how she feels. I have been buying graphic novels and comics for over 30 years now, and I find reading Previews (the monthly comic book/pop culture catalog) painful beyond words. There are multiple comics being published about BHO-not just one shots of his sanitized biography, but comics in which he is the hero (Barack the Barbarian), he is rescued by or simply meets comic book characters (Spider-Man, Ash from the Evil Dead franchise)-I’d say at least a half a dozen comic titles per month are being cranked out about BHO. It’s just unreal, AND unprecedented. I do recall there being an *occasional* walk on part for Ronald Reagan and GWB, but they were very rare ( and usually insulting). I have never seen a sitting president become the object of a Personality Cult in comics before. I hope all these comics fail, but for now, I dread going through the Previews every month and seeing that loathsome, smug face multiple times.
Probably the ONLY page in the whole ddamnd paper that didn't have Obama's name, until Ms. Nissen's ad was posted.
Ping!
Priceless, geez...
who needs tv

I swear I think I saw Obama appear in a rerun of Andy Griffith last week.
The dial never deviates from TCM, AMC or Ovation anymore in my house simply because that droning, air-time-hogging egomaniac is so overexposed and those are the only spots on the channel lineup the general public can find any real refuge anymore.
I had to chuckle at those ladies' comments in that restaurant, because it just may be that the much vaunted 'racial reconciliation' for which Obama was supposed to serve as the Great Half-White Hope to achieve may indeed come about, not from anything Barack Obama or his crooked race-hustling cronies at ACORN eventually do, but because of Robert Osborne at Turner Classic Movies! And Cary Grant could very well be someday considered by future historians as the MLK of cable TV - who would have ever imagined that?
So it would seem that Americans are much more alike than our compulsively racist & self-servingly divisive politicians on the left wing ever give us credit for. The pronounced distaste for being held captive to self-centered politicians infatuated with the sound of their own voice - and the sycophantic shills in the Fourth Estate who debase themselves to serve those narcissistic politicians' egomania - seems to be one of those universal human attributes which truly does transcend melanin.
I would dearly love to know just how well TCM's ratings have been faring since November of last year.
LOL!!!
