San Diego, CA ---In the wake of the murder of Border Patrol Agent and father of two Robert Rosas, the issue of illegal immigration and its impact on all of us is again top of mind. The illegal border crosser is often described by the media as a poor migrant worker, that is just looking for a job and a way to support their families. In some cases that is true however almost daily we hear of unthinkable crimes being committed by people who arent supposed to be here in the first place.
Is Illegal Immigration a victimless crime? Not hardly. The men that allegedly murdered Agent Rosas werent hard-core cartel members but illegal aliens trying to cross into the US undetected. Yet some illegal immigrants themselves are victims.
This is the first of a four part series on the victims of illegal immigration. In Part II, I will highlight the dangers faced by those seeking a better life in the US as many are raped, robbed, tortured and left for dead by unscrupulous coyote guides. In Part III, I will address the impact on the American worker and the economic crisis it has contributed to in California and elsewhere. In Part IV, I will address the crimes committed against American citizens. Crimes like murder and dismemberment, which have left a trail of injured and dead Americans of all ages nationwide.
First, this is not an attempt to demonize any ethnic group. People cross the US border illegally from every country on the globe and for any conceivable reason. This is not a racial issue though some will attempt to play that card, as perhaps it is the only one in their hand. It is not a new phenomenon either. The illegal immigrants of the mid to late eighteen hundreds were largely Irish and Chinese coming here to work on the railroads. The government was as complicit in their illegal entry then as it is today.
On this day however we are reminded tragically of just how dangerous the border area has become. In a 2006 study conducted by the Border Counties Coalition, the twenty-four US counties that run along the border with Mexico were combined into a fictional 51st State and compared against the other fifty. Not surprisingly they collectively ranked #1 n crime, crimes involving drugs, crimes involving children, Federal crimes and lastly, immigration crimes. Additionally these same counties had the nations highest incidence of Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Chagas disease. This suggests with empirical data that you dont have to be the victim of a crime to be negatively impacted as most, if not all of the cases of these once eradicated diseases in this country can be traced to people illegally entering without proper health screens.
At one point in 2006 it was estimated that as many as 15,000+ illegal aliens were crossing into the US each day. Roughly twenty-percent were criminals. We know this because they had already been deported for felonies in the United States. In fact according to the Center For Immigration Studies, a large percentage of felons in state and federal prison are illegally in this country costing the taxpayer upwards of $1.6 billion dollars per year. Statistics though are pliable and can be bent or spun to accommodate most any position. The open borders activists will of course cite another report published by the Immigration Policy Center in which they assert that statistically immigrants, whether illegal or legal, were substantially less likely to commit crimes or be incarcerated than native born US citizens. Still, the fact remains that whether likely or unlikely to commit crimes, a good percentage of all criminals in prison are illegal aliens.
Routinely, Border Patrol Agents arrest illegal border crossers with gang affiliations like MS-13; their colors displayed proudly in the form of facial and body tattoos. Backpacks and clothing with gang symbols are found in remote desert areas across the southwest having been discarded after their owners were picked up by their sponsors and driven to major urban areas around the country.
The alleged killers of Border Agent Rosas were reportedly part of a people smuggling operation working out of Tecate, Mexico. One of the six men charged, Jose Eugenio Quintero Ruiz, was wanted for two murders and rape in the United States. Somehow, at least one of the 26 people involved in the Rosas shooting made it all the way to San Jose before his cell phone betrayed his location and he was arrested. The network of people smugglers in both the US and Mexico is wide and varied in their funding and sophistication.
In the next article I will address crimes against the illegal immigrants themselves by men and women on both sides of the border who will do almost anything, to anyone, for a buck or a peso. For many, the illegal immigrants dream of traveling to El Norte and living the good life is abruptly and tragically cut short. Most of this could be avoided, if only the governments of the United States and Mexico made illegal immigration and secure borders, a priority. For more info: Tragedy in Amexica

Murdered by illegal aliens from Mexico last week defending our borders... NOTHING from the Mainstream Media!
Yes, well...
Trying to get into the U.S. before Obamacare kicks in!
The other agents in Campo will be receiving grief counseling this week to cope with the loss of their friend.
Every politician in CA should be required to line the route to the cemetary..in chains.
WAL-MART strikes again! Yet another way we finance our own demise, with every dollar spent at Wal-Mart! A guest speaker at the La Raza annual meeting last week was Dr. John O. Agwunobi, Senior Vice President and President of Health and Wellness of Wal-Mart. Roger Hedgecock played the Wal-mart executive’s comments on his radio show on July 28. When asked if healthcare reform should include ‘undocumented’ persons, he stated..’Wal-mart believes all persons should be covered’.
AMNESTY!!! FREE HEALTHCARE for ALIENS!! THANKS WAL-MART!

Illegal immigration is not a Victimless crime. It hurts American workers and Legal Immigrants. It hurts the taxpayers of Illinois to the tune of 3.5 BILLION dollars a year. We must give American workers a break and demand that every business uses E-Verify which allows businesses to check if their potential employee is legal to work in the United States.
I am all for Family Re-unification the Mantra of Illegal aliens. Did you know that since the September 11Th terrorist attacks over 46,000 Americans have died at the hands of illegal aliens in the streets of America? Will those American families ever be united again? Not a chance. We must stop the unquenchable thirst for cheap labor by Big Business, who want the American taxpayer to foot the bill for Free services for illegal aliens. It has bankrupted our country.
“Illegal Immigration: A victimless crime?”
If you pay taxes, that makes you a victim.

The landscape is littered with American victims of this brutal government sponsored invasion.
There are many victims of illegal aliens: taxpayers, the environment, the USA, the multitudes killed, raped, and robbed by illegal aliens, etc.
By 92 I either had to become an illegal employer paying cash/no deductions or go out of business.
I closed a 57 year old business and now live on 1/3 of my former income.
I am a victim!
Viva la "change"...
Coming soon to your neighborhood--illegal alien crime, brought to you courtesy of our corrupt Washington political elite.
A 36-year old Dominican with legal US residency admitted he repeated sexually assaulted his 17-year-old neighbor in 1997. He was deported to the Dominican Republic.
NJ Court documents show he was asked if he understood if that he pleaded guilty he could be returned to his native country and that he was asked whether he was satisfied with the advice his lawyer gave. He said he was.
But now he has changed his mind. He said he never would have pleaded guilty if he knew he would be deported. He wants his conviction overturned.
Say w-h-a-a-t?
BTW, the NJ Supreme Court has now ruled in his favor, saying there is credible evidence that defendant was misinformed by counsel and that he would not have pleaded guilty if he knew he could be deported. Of course, should he be convicted, he can get 10 years in prison.
So let us get this straight. He did not understand RAPE was illegal in the United States (like it is in the Third World). Perhaps he thought she wanted to have sex with him and her screaming, fighting and trying to rip his skin and eyes off were simply amorous overtones.
Maybe a court should make sure he understands the consequences of his actions? Wait a sec.......the court will excuse the consequences of his actions because he did not understand them.
We now have courts abetting the social programs of the political party in power. Instead of performing judicial duties as laid out in the constitution they create laws and make decisions based on supporting a social agenda being promoted by the executive branch.
The US government is starting to look more like the failed regimes of the Turd World.
Where do you come up with this stuff? I think I would be clawing my eyes out if I read all the stuff you read. Or, start puking. :O)
This just sent out by NAFBPO. See the photos ( I don’t know how to post them) of the Border Patrol most wanted.
Wanted Billboards Go Up Along the Border
SAN DIEGO - The Border Patrol needs your help to track down 12 men wanted here in the United States.
A billboard was posted Tuesday in Tecate showing men wanted in ongoing investigations. The Border Patrol wants these pictures out to the public. The same sign is expected to be posted in San Ysidro on Wednesday.
“I think it’s good because if those guys are here in town, we must see them, we can call,” said Montallano, who travels regularly across the border. He walks back and forth between the U.S. and Mexico border in Tecate nearly every day. On Tuesday he noticed this billboard for the first time, featuring photos of 12 different men all wanted by the Border Patrol.
“It’s just one more method that we are attempting to try to get information from the general public on these individuals,” explains Agent Jose Morales of the Border Patrol.
One ongoing investigation by the FBI is the death of Border Patrol agent Robert Rosas. He was shot and killed last Thursday in a remote area of Campo.
An FBI spokesperson did not comment on any direct relationship between the new billboard and the investigation, but did say the new sign is timely in regards to recent events.
The Border Patrol tells San Diego 6 News that all the men on the billboard are wanted in separate investigations. However we have learned that two of the men on this billboard were arrested by Mexican police in connection to Rosas’ death.
While several men remain in custody in Mexico in relation to Rosas’ murder, no one has officially been arrested or charged in the agent’s death.

Here’s a really disgusting news item today, that I haven’t seen on the MSM, either. Generally that means the suspect is an alien, though I can’t find out either way.
