The poll is running 2-1 in favor of Colin with about 3,000 votes, so your vote can affect the outcome.

They killed the poll — probably because the results were so bad, they could not handle it....
Why would the people want him to do that?
So would he be the lst black Republican running? After he ditched McCain, he wants to come back? Nay...
It’s there and it’s running in his favor or returning.
No thanks.
With Colin running 2 to 1, I’d say the eunuchs and bobbleheads in Obama’s MSM have already “freeped” it. I think they’d love him to be the GOP’s next McCain. They’d rip him apart once he was nominated.
I don’t think they understand yet. We want fresh blood; not old blooc.
Let him try a return so he can be publicly humiliated and go away (old soldiers)
General Powell has never held elected office, IIRC.
Since when was Colin Powell a Republican? He was an opportunist who rode on the Bush clan’s coat tails.
OK to return, but not as a Republican, although the way the GOP is acting am not sure it makes any difference. Summary, I do not care one way or the other. Today’s politicians are all crooks and liars and worthless and un-American.
As a democrat.
It’s running 2 to 1 in favor of Colon. As if we didn’t know where CNN is coming from. Sheesh.
Why the hell do they continue to call that racist a Republican?
"It was a glittering time. They literally swept into office, ready, moving , generating their style, their confidence. It was an extraordinary confluence of time and men, and many people in the know quoted Lyndon Johnsons reaction to them at the first Cabinet meeting. He, the outsider, like us, looked at them with a certain awe, which was no wonder, since they had forgotten to invite him to the meeting. They were all so glamorous and bright that it was hard to tell who was the most brilliant
"What was not so widely quoted in Washington (which was a shame because it was a far more prophetic comment) was the reaction of Lyndons great friend Sam Rayburn to Johnsons enthusiasm about the new men. Stunned by their glamour and intellect, he had rushed back to tell Rayburn, his great and crafty mentor, about them, about how brilliant each was, that fellow Bundy from Harvard, Rusk from Rockefeller, McNamara from Ford. On he went, naming them all. 'Well, Lyndon, you may be right and they may be every bit as intelligent as you say,' said Rayburn, 'but Id feel a whole lot better about them if just one of them had run for sheriff once.'"
-- From The Best and the Brightest, chapter 4, by David Halberstam (1969)
Colin Powell has never run for office. The party politics is all about winning elections. Has Powell ever demonstrated any political sense? The media loves Powell because he is their dream Republican. If he can't win an election, any election, his political wisdom is untested.
Who voted Colin Powell “head honcho” of the Republican Party?

Yes, and some good history there! Powell is an empty suit from a political viewpoint. He is also a liberal and we do not need any more of those. Admittedly, he is no AMERICA-HATING, RADICAL MARXIST as Obama is, but he just ain’t the guy. Too liberal, and not even a governorship, or even a mayor.
You saved me the trouble of asking that question.
Yes. Our county could use a dog catcher.
