The race was so close in reality that I do think that the overwhelming support Obama got from the black community DID have just that effect. You really do have to go on a county by county basis. I am no electoral number cruncher, so I can’t say for sure, but given what I do know it seems possible to me that it made enough of a difference to give him the states he had to have to win.
Onaka is correctly Spelled. Alvin T Onaka PhD. is the State Registrar who’s name appears on my COLB as well as Obama’s COLB. Right below the date that the document was printed on. Or was supposed to be printed on considering mine was misprinted as a 2007 document when it should have said 2000.

You may be misinterpreting a statement by Hawaii regarding its shift in record-keeping practices. However, even if your statement is true, your point adds nothing of substance to the discussion.

Now here we disagree.

The biggest part of this shell game is that Obama and his operatives have convinced most of America that we have the burden of proving O is unqualified. While at the same time they have “sealed” and in one instance forged the very record that would be used for such purpose.
It is exactly the opposite, O has always had the burden of proving he is qualified. He acknowledged that burden when he signed or arranged for his agent(s) to sign each state’s primary election certification that he was qualified/eligible for the office of the president. Such execution was made, of course, under penalty of perjury.
Later, during the January 8, 2009 Joint Session called solely for the purpose of assuring America that the election was conducted properly, Obama had the burden of satisfying any request by Congress to demonstrate his citizenship (see 20th Amendment, “…if the President elect shall have failed to qualify…” as well as 3 USC 15).
Every liberal I have argued with has conceded that if Congress had required such prior to accepting the work of the Electoral College, Obama was obligated to produce, or to authorize Hawaii to produce, a verifiably authentic BC.
Should Congress have requested that document?
Without question, particularly in the face of the substantial pre-election concern and outrage transmitted to Congress over the fact that there was absolutely nothing in the public record that demonstrated O was a U.S. citizen.
He may be qualified, but there is no reason to believe so and Congress had a duty to the nation to act on the issue.
Which is why I have previously stated that every single Republican in Congress was seduced into going limp and sitting on their hands during the Session.

Your screed made no sense at all until I read it into my micro-casette recorder and then played it backwards. now it is as clear as an un-muddied stream....paul is dead.
Knowing a lot of people is all it would have taken. Just because someone is connected does NOT mean they have some outrageous seniority or something. I know my contact in Hawaii is NOT some executive, nor has ever been. But I can tell you this, if I wanted to accomplish something in Hawaii that bent a few laws I know exactly who I would need to talk to first. Its about trust in an insular community. It has nothing to do with ranking seniority.
The point is, she didn’t get to her position over night, regardless of how “high” up she was. She did it over time and in that time would have made lots of friends acquaintances, for whom she may have done favors even if it was only babysitting their kids. This is just how it works in the Islands. Keep in mind we are talking about a place in which you can drive around the perimeter of the island in just a few hours. Oahu is SMALL! You go from town to town in the blink of an eye, literally. Kailua is less than 20 min form Honolu on the Poly Frwy. and that is considered a long distance.
I am sorry that this may be confusing. Hawaii is a very different place than the mainland, and things work differently there. The entire society works differently there. Believe me, I struggled with the differences when my family and I moved to the mainland in the late 70’s.
Exactly my point. He said in his book that he had all his birth records. Why need a new COLB if he had them at the time he printed his book?

Try re- reading it. Nutshell version: Obama had a COLB forged for him that states his race as African in order to get the support of the Black community. Which to that point had been questioning voting for him (see the race he lost in Illonis in 2000) on the issue of his being “Black enough”. So he gets his new COLB with the race listed as AFRICAN.
Its still forgery and may implicate the State of Hawaii which may be why Gov. Linda Lingle sealed his Long form Birth Certificate for him the last time he went to the islands for Grandma’s illness, broken hip I think it was. The Gov. sealed his records after that saying that they would not be released.
At this point I believe that only a subpoena would get that long form released, and then I think Obama’s lawyers might challenge even that. Surely they have fought everything else.
I will freely admit that I do not know his parentage on his father’s side. 100% I don’t know that for sure. All I do know is that he is half white, had a big issue in getting elected in Chicago and Illonis on the issue of being Black enough. Having a COLB saying African, would have given him a lot more crediblity in that community. Regardless of how much black/Arab blood he had. The question was being asked by the voters, “is he black enough?” So he answered the question with a COLB that said he was. I think that COLB is not a document that matches what it says on his birth certificate which makes it an issue of forgery, and certainly a bald faced lie to the community he was wooing. Perhaps up to and including winning the presidency he otherwise might have lost due to the “Black Enough” question. No one will ever be able to say for sure if it did effect the outcome or not. The point is, he still got a fake document produced, and lied his butt off. That might well leave an “Embarrassing” mark.

That’s not the picture I saw. I’m looking for it, but it’s probably been scrubbed. This was perhaps later in the day, near their cars, taken from a long distance by a photographer they were unaware was shooting the pictures. I saw it earlier this spring, and sure wish I’d bookmarked it or something. I’ll post the link here if I find it.
