The long-awaited 911 tape and audio of the controversial July 16 arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. are being made public for the first time today, Cambridge officals just announced.
The tapes will speak for themselves, said Cambridge Police Commissioner Robert Haas.
Hass said the tapes will create some confusion, but only with police codes youll hear but the remainder of the tapes are crystal clear.
Its in plain language in most part and you can draw your own conclusions, Haas.
In the 911 tapes, Lucia Whalen can be heard spelling out the name of the street and saying that another woman approached her about seeing two men trying to enter the Ware Street home.

Is there a link to the arrest audio, too?
The left is so hellbent on race baiting they will say she said maybe one was a hispanic is bad.
For some reason, on Fox, the tape stopped (or was stopped) when the name Henry Louis Gates was mentioned. Then the anchors talked and commercial.
One of them may have been hispanic? Who was the second person?
bump...
The other person was the professors driver. They/he were returning from a trip to China.
Wonder what the ratio of these two type incidents would be:
1. Innocent blacks unfairly profiled by the police.
2. Guilty blacks claiming unfair profiling by police to disguise their guilt.
I saw it on a local station and they stopped at the same part where Henry Louis Gates was mentioned.
As it is said, the police are good at writing up the report after the incident but seldom will arrive in time to do much of anything about the problem.
Gates is so light skinned she could have meant him. then again, Hispanic can be ANY race.
Fox now showing pic AGAIN of Gates in Tux, Crowley in tee shirt. THEY REALLY NEED to stop doing this crap.
I have been on vacation and maybe this has already been
discussed, but how come FR does not show the total number of
how many people visit each thread?????
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Was the dispatcher condescending to the 911 caller?
Who before )bama no one had a clue who he was. He got his 15 minutes of fame...
Bet me Sharpton and Jesse speak out today.
I’d like to report a possible break in at a large white house in the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Ave.
I agree, if there was any “profiling” it was the dispatcher who seemed annoyed at the woman for calling.
One officer was a greaser the other was a spoon.. and Gates was the frying pan..
ping
LOL
See what you think:
Can you give me the birth location of the occupant?
