Our welfare state, and that includes the goal of retirement, is based on the assumption that there will be more young workers than old non workers. We are going to have that upside down soon. With the loss of moral culture in the West, that means sooner or later the State will start killing off the non workers in order to stay solvent.
That is the harsh truth that is already being played out in parts of Europe.
