Here is video of Ann Coulter on with Geraldo Rivera last night saying that President Obama's Birth Certificate is "not an issue," and that it is just being pushed by a "few cranks" out there. Coulter blamed the Mainstream Media's lack of in-depth reporting on Obama for the rise of those who believe there has been a conspiracy to keep the truth from the American people on the issue of Obama's birth.
Geraldo criticized Lou Dobbs as being a "dope" for talking about the issue, and for his opposition to illegal immigration. Coulter disagreed with Geraldo about Lou Dobbs, but said he is wrong on the birth certificate issue. Mike Huckabee chimed in that Hillary Clinton would have used the issue against Obama in the primaries if there had been anything to the story. . . . . . (Watch Video)

...Leave it to Beaveraldo to to call Dobbs a “dope” when he’s a dupe for “His peoples cause”...
...Not going to get into the BC issue, that’s a distraction, and has gone nowhere, so far...
Wonder why they are trying to get rid of the bc issue?
No, the woman has to eat (economically speaking) and by joining the BC bandwagon she'll be relegated into the dark corners of the Internet blogosphere. Who'd want her to contribute on the shows and who'd publish her books?
Despite the seriousness of this issue, it is NOT important right now. This issue will take care of itself, trust me, people know what's going on and definitely have Obama on the defensive. We need to stop his Marxist agenda first and elect a Congress that will stop him.
It doesn't matter if he was born in the White House on top of an original copy of the Constitution. His father was Kenyan and a British citizen which automatically transferred to him per the 1948 British National Act.
She’s chose her battle, alright. She chose to do battle against those who don’t believe BO has a birth certificate.
Poor decision IMHO.
She isn't lacking information. She's dead wrong!
Plain dumb!
I am with you. Until the questions are resolved then all else is moot.
I cannot believe that Ann Colter is bowing at the alter of the looney left. Because Ann dear, that is what you are doing if you carry even one drop of water for this evil muslim fool.
I can only think of two reasons Zero would be dumping all this cash into hiding his birth certificate.
1) There is, in fact, something incriminating or embarrassing to hide.
2) There is nothing to hide; Obama is just gaming the legal system to keep the BC hidden just to make his opponents angry, distract us from real issues, and make us look like raging kooks to ensure nobody takes us seriously.
So Obama is either a criminal or an uber-narcissistic, corrupt slimeball who would rather anger the people for his own political gain than serve them.
If the latter is the case, Ann Coulter is very smart to brush off the BC issue. At any rate, I think it’s best that we handle this quietly, calmly, and intelligently, if not under cover.
That's the real bottom line. Even if the bc has a problem (the fact that Hillary didn't use it convinces me it probably isn't), it's simply too late to deal with it and we need to move on to the more central issue, meaning how awful a president this man is and how much he misrepresented who he is. Next: How to replace congress, then we can rid ourselves of him.
The ones "wasting resources" are the birthers. Do you think it helps the conservative cause to have it represented in the media by people like the kooky lady holding up a plastic baggie and telling Mike Castle that Obama's not American?
A good, salient point questioning "health reform" might have been a better way to go.
Being a Natural Born Citizen is just one of the issues.
I hadn't followed this real closely until the Obama trip to Hawaii, which I found extremely unusual.
The fact that Obama has fought this with expensive attorneys and the MSM is now spreading out right lies (variations) about what the truth is would lead anyone with with a brain to have some questions.
Regardless of what the truth may be, there is a reason why Obama has refused to make an original available. That doesn't make the people who question his motives “insane”.
Were the Swift Boaters insane? Was the National Enquirer insane (John Edwards)? Was the entire Right Wing guilty of an insane conspiracy against Clinton, as was stated by Hillary?
Exactly. It’s a distraction, and the people orchestrating it are almost certainly Democratic operatives.
I understand your take on the economic reasons for Ann’s comments on those who would like to see The Kenyan’s full form birth certificate. But that’s the same approach taken by Peggy Noonan when she was being labeled a right wing extremist by the liberals. But Ann, like Peggy is forgetting the maxim of “dancing with who brung ya” and will suffer the same substantial dropoff in book sales that Peggy is now seeing for trying to appease her liberal critics. In the long run, Ann made the wrong economic decision because more “birthers” buy her books, that the liberals she’s trying to appease.
....and while were at it, why dont we just trash all the conservatives that dont agree with us 100% of the time. Grow up, folks, nobody agrees with us or you 100% of the time. Choose your battles.

This thread is not about AGREEING with anyone. It is about VALID, SERIOUS QUESTIONS that should be answered by Obama and his ilk, and most likely, never will be. The thread is not about Ann Coulter, or anything she believes — it is about THE LAW AND THE CONSTITUTION and those that commit fraud upon the citizens of the USA.
Hmm...Call “birthers” nutz. “Birthers” get bitter, start trashing Annie, leftist media pounces on said trashing and reporting on it; people who have no idea about the certificate story start asking “what?”.
Good way to get this into the limelight.
Why would you find a trip to Hawaii unusual? Do you ever visit the place where you grew up? Even if you don't believe he was born in Hawaii, it's indisputable he spent much of his childhood there and he visits every year (not to mention, it's a pretty darn good vacation spot. I wish my childhood hometown had beaches that good). Why is that extremely unusual?
The Supreme Court has never ruled on the meaning of natural born citizen within the meaning of the presidential eligibility clause.
What there is now on the issue is merely dicta, which is about as binding on the current court as a statement of the opining justice’s favorite movie.
While I think the Supreme Court of 1809, had they directly ruled on the question, might well have defined natural born citizen as requiring that a child be born to American citizens, I am not at all persuaded that the Supreme Court of 2009 would so rule, given its makeup and the dynamics of the issue.
The father was also subject to US jurisdiction per the 14th, since he did not have diplomatic immunity. If he was obligated to pay his parking tickets, he was subject to the jurisdiction.
Of course, there are some who claim he was not natural born, regardless of his birthplace, because his father was not a citizen. But that's a steeply-uphill legal argument which is going nowhere.
