Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. says he is ready to move on from his arrest by a white police officer, hoping to use the encounter to improve fairness in the criminal justice system and saying "in the end, this is not about me at all."

Race baiting ain’t what it used to be, I guess. Suddenly Gates have a homey in the White House looking like a big fat racist like his preacher.
Hope that someone does that soon. Rush ? Hannity? maybe Beck?
It's also the Don Corleone way.
“Release the audio”
I agree! Since gates (and 0) has decided to make a national racist issue out of this, let every US citizen hear the tape and decide for themselves who the racist is. My guess is there are already attorneys on the case for gates trying to hide the tapes contents.
I agree after thinking about it. DO NOT go to the White House for beers. Don’t play into their web of deceit. Stop by here for some good brews and screw DC. It’s only poison there, anyway.
He wants to move on before the truth comes out.
An FOIA request shouldn’t be to hard here. The 911 director could also release these at anytime without pause given 911 tapes of this nature are public and carry no national security implications.
Yep
I wonder if the PD let him listen to the audio?
Gates lost.....bigtime. He screwed with the wrong white man.
In the wake of this incident, President Obama acted stupidly by judging the police actions without full knowledge of the facts. By weighing in without full benefit of the facts, President Obama has created racial conflict.
Hmmmm.....
In regards to the break in a couple of weeks before this was there an Insurance claim?
“Gates says it’s time to ‘move on’ from his arrest”
It wasn’t time to move on when Sgt. Crowley was trying to walk away? Moron? Tap tap tap...is this thing on?
It looks like somebody has already formally requested any audio or video related to the Gates Meltdown; and it appears that the very liberal state of Massachusetts has a Public Records Law which pretty much requires that release. I read through the "exemptions" on that last link, and it appears that none of the exemptions for providing those tapes applies in the case of Gates-gate.
I will await the release of the tapes.
btw, Neil Cavotu was terribly slandered with outright lies by the White House. Any apologies there?
I think he was hoping to get tazed on camera... that would have paid off nicely for him.
I don’t want to move on. I want this to GO on and on.
He wants to “move on” because the audio in the police tapes is very, very incriminating against him!! That’s why!!
Fool.
