Most Americans54%--still blame President George W. Bush for the nations economic woes. A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 39% say the policies of President Barack Obama are to blame.
Those top-line figures are unchanged from a month ago. Two months ago, 62% blamed Bush.
By a two-to-one margin, voters trust their own economic judgment more than the Presidents. That, too, is little changed over the past month. However, in February, just 49% trusted their own economic judgment more than the presidents.
Fifty-seven percent (57%) of women still blame Bush for the economic problems. That view is shared by 50% of men.
Seventy-nine percent (79%) of Democrats point the finger at Bush while 65% of Republicans say Obama now bears responsibility. Those not affiliated with either major party are more evenly divided51% blame Bush and 43% say Obama.
What do you expect from people who would elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden?
Such is the power of the lamestream media.
What! No mention of the Dem Congress elected in ‘08?
Obviously the Republicans had PR problems. That’s sad.

LOL
Exactly
I blame Rasmussen, for fear mongering and letting the real fish get away. This IS Obozo’s economy.
The power of the Obama propaganda machine!
In spite of his spending, he cannot move the economy cuzzzzz no one has faith in the little boy.
How about Congress? Was that in the survey choices?
We are slowly getting to where even the people that Rasmussen poll are looking at this as ZERO’s economy not Bush. Not bad for only six months. Another six months and even the most diehard ZERO supporters are going to be hard pressed to blame Bush when the huge ZERO stimulus continues not to work.
This poll is actually important. There is a reason why the False Prophet keeps saying, “I inherited this problem.”
As long as people blame Bush for their economic situation, they won’t hold the False Prophet accountable.
The poll had 61% last week. 54 is lower, bet it will become lower and lower .....
For 8 years people heard almost nothing but ‘hate Bush’ from the enemedia and the PelNazi fascists. Over and over. Children now turning ten know nothing else. Did we think people would not still be susceptible to the power of suggestion?
39% blaming Obama already after only 6 months is remarkable.
Just add a few percent a month until Nov 2010 and all kinds of democrat safe seats are very vulnerable.
The Pusillanimous Rhino problem is more than sad ....
There is a reason why Obama always says he “inherited” the deficit and the sour economy. He continually reinforces it. If you tell a lie often enough and long enough more and more people believe it.
America is quickly turning on homie the clown and in a few more months it will be Bush who?
W was a very bad when it came to economics. He deserves a big portion of the blame for the economy and helping to get the most liberal member of the Senate elected president.
