CNN president kills birther story
TVNewser reports that CNN President Jon Klein has declared a halt to birther coverage -- a tacit shot at Lou Dobbs.
Klein forwarded Dobbs's producers a memo under this heading, which I suspect won't calm the conspiracists:
Since the show's mission is for Lou to be the explainer and enlightener, he should be sure to cite this during your segment tonite. And then it seems this story is dead - because anyone who still is not convinced doesn't really have a legitimate beef.
See post in this thread by Beckwith. They don’t destroy records like that. This is just more obfuscation by the media brownshirts to throw off a few thousand people starting to really wonder about all of this.
Very nice catch on the Hawaiian Land Requirements switcheroo. Some Native Hawaiian with an interest in preserving the integrity of native-owned lands should file a FOIA on how and why that change was made, at whose behest, when the process was first brought up for consideration, who was involved in the discussions, etc.
What race is African? Is that like European or South American?
Not wanting to appear racist, or PC, Last time I looked, Caucasian, Negroid, and Mongoloid were the three races commonly found on official documents in the Mother’s race, and Father’s race sections.

Even if it’s true that his “original” birth certificate was destroyed, the state should be able to issue a certified copy. In fact, in PA, if you ask for your birth certificate, you don’t get an original; you get a certified copy.

Actually, from what I’ve been reading, I believe the State of Hawaii actually did that... :-)
But, it really doesn’t make any difference, because an image file, which the state has, is what they’re going to use to print out a certified copy, anyway...
Yes, it is my understanding as well that to be a native Hawaiian (and be able to prove it) is a very, very big deal in Hawaii and entitles the natives to all kinds of benefits. You would think that the state of Hawaii, in particular, would have special protocols in place to definitively trace ancestry, birth, etc.

That’s always stuck out for me, too, and I’ve tracked it. It is curious .. story being that she was SO intrigued by his becoming the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, blah blah blah. Right ..this unknown, and she somehow picks him for stardom.
She pursued her book mission relentlessly, even in the face of passed deadlines, etc.

I know that has been your position from the beginning and it’s a good one as far as something we need to make sure is done before 2012. However, if Obama has committed document fraud(and the evidence is pretty convincing imho), then he has committed a crime and should be prosecuted and impeached. If he has lied to the American people in his book about his background, the people have a right to know. If he went to college on a foreign visa, then the American people have a right to know.
Our country might not survive until 2010...much else 2012.
It’s stunning, isn’t it? Any one of those things would have been an outrage to the media if it had been done by President Bush or McCain. But not with Obama. I finally figured out why the media seems so scared at Obama’s press events. They are afraid to ask him unrehearsed questions because they have so much invested in him. Like Rush said...Obama is the corrupt American media’s Waterloo.
I do understand what you’re saying in terms of withstanding a liberal onslaught..., but it does come down to what one might call a “game plan” (if you will).
Can anyone address the “if” statements you made? Namely, can someone provide the proof that is needed in order to get “fraud” shown absolutely and in a court of law? That’s the big “if” ...
I believe that one could just about *guarantee* that with state laws, we’ll be able to force the issue with the birth certificate. However, I don’t quite see the “guarantee” with those “if” statements you made.

Giving NO qualification of just WHAT they have. The original birth certificate could’ve document his spawning on Pluto. That statement does nothing to clarify the citizenship issue, correct ?
The ‘game plan’ is to pursue this until the truth comes out and Obama is forced to release all of the documents he is hiding from the American people. The burden of proof is on Obama..not us. The very fact that he would rather spit in the face of the American people and our constitution by refusing to release anything is reasonable doubt. That is all we need to influence public opinion and get him in court eventually. That is why the Obots and the media are all scared witless.
