President Obama says his choice of words unfortunately gave the impression that he was maligning against the Cambridge Police Department.
Obama said, he hopes as a "consequence" that this event becomes a "teachable moment" where people spend more time "listening to each other" and to generally improve relationships between minorities and police officers. Obama said more unity is needed.
Regarding this being a local issue, Obama said he felt like he needed to step in because race is still a "troubling" aspect in our society.

I am sure the press told him that in order to put out the fire he needed to make some public comments to them, and that it wouldn’t matter what exactly he says, that the press will take care of putting out the fire simply by reporting that he did so.
And I am sure that is what will happen. Nevertheless, watching anyone babble like that is painful.

Neither Obama or Robert Gibbs could bring themselves to use the word “Apology”.
Obama saves his apologies for people he feels comfortable with and other America haters.

It is incredible how this lying piece of sh_t still cannot get the facts right even when he tries to clarify the issue. He says he had a bad choice of words and probably contributed to the incident blowing out of proportion and then he compounds it again by saying Crowley "pulled Gates out of the house". What a stupid assphat!!!
