OK...what an excellent response... There was so much transitional music in the late 60’s-70’s. And so many bands changing members that it’s hard when u hear a song to tell who was playing with who.

I would have called NRPS Alternative Country...yeah, like Flying Burritos, Gram Parsons & EmmyLou Harris, etc.

“Nah, I’m just worn out from this person died and that person died the last few months. Meanwhile we have a facist, illegitimate president taking us down the road to hell. I’m just worn out from it all.”

Buck up soldier. Who was it that said, “I have only begun to fight?” John Paul Jones?

Take care.

I loved Linda Ronstadt. I know she didn't age well, but I saw her live at Armadillo World Headquarters right about the time she release Heart Like a Wheel, and she was the girl you were lucky enough to date once in high school and remembered the rest of your life.

Aw, come on! Okay, it was funny, but I’m almost in tears thinking this guy has had it.

I’ve been lurking on this board since 2004 and only recently decided to post. You guys have given me much courage. I’m of the belief that we are in a real fight for our very lives. It breaks my heart to see someone get discouraged. Please soldier on. And remain funny!

I went to school with the Ronstadts. Daddy owned a hardware store in town.

And yes, she was drop dead killer gorgeous! Not that I was fit to even be in the same hallway, but I got to see her a lot floating around at class change.

She still has a beautiful voice, but has filled out a bit, as have most of us.

BTW, absolutely loved her in Pirate of Penzance.
