If I’m reading that right, in that article, it seems to say that the following, below, is “defending birthers” (or the Obama Birth Certificate issue).
It sure doesn’t seem that she’s doing that to me (from the statement below). It seems that she’s trying to sidestep the issue and not get drawn into a discussion of it.
I don’t have any question about Barack Obama’s right to be President of the United States.
My concern is with his policies. I am deeply troubled about the path he is taking this country down — massively expanding the size of government, weakening our national defenses, increasing taxes on all Americans and nationalizing health care. These are dangerous policies for the nation.
I think what is going on here, is that the leftists are now going to try to put *anyone* who opposes Obama and his policies as a “birther” — in order to try and marginalize opposition to Obama’s policies.
That appears to be what is going on by these articles...
Even my mother at 70 and apolitical said the other day, “why doesn’t he just show his real birth certificate and end this stuff?”

I just hope the birther issue doesn’t turn into a conservative litmus test for candidates.
It is foolish to hinge the fate of this war on the enemies ability to forge documents, and the medias ability to push the marxist PR. This issue should be used for agit-prop and nothing more (or less). Agitating the population is necessary to moving them out of their “rut” and opening them to more “extreme” solutions, but the real reasons for the war should never be overshadowed by the tactics and PR used to achieve those goals.
Use this issue for what it is, but refrain from getting “caught up” in it as your “defining” issue.

The birther movement is a false flag operation carried out by David Plouffe, the Obama Campaign manager. The fact that so many have fallen for it just shows its success.
The fact is that if anyone really wanted to see Obama’s birth certificate, it can be subpoenaed under Hawaii law by court order.
No one has attempted to gain a subpoena for the original document. That ought to tell anyone of intelligence all that they need to know about this issue.
