I am ready to see Inhofe as Chairman of Environment and Public Works to drive the RATs NUTS.

How satisfying would it be to see the hideous, patronizing, stupid as a stone Barbara Boxer displaced by this good man. Har!

“HUH? Sorry, not everybody can listen to everything everybody says! Maybe you didn’t bother to read my complete post! “

I didn’t say that and yes I read all your posts, giving your uninformed opinion about someone by the only time you’ve ever seen him and one statement. Inhofe didn’t impress you. So what?

It’s obvious no one can tell some one like you anything because you’ve got a BAD attitude.

You’re a waste of time.

BYE

He is the only, consistent conservative in the Senate and can fight.

He's got a pretty good stable mate.......

And one that pisses off enough Pubbies as well as SocialistMarxists to please me...quite a bit.

He is excellent! If someone is ready to write him off because of one aside on a radio show, they haven’t been paying attention. This Senator is gentlemanly and smart. He doesn’t bluster, just goes about the business of making sure the libs dreams don’t come true.

He is my favorite speaker at our GOP Convention and I love his Town Halls and right there with him is Dr. Coburn.

We are blessed in Oklahoma to have two very fine Senators. In the last election George Soros sent in some of his consultants to help out Andrew Rice who was running against Inhofe thinking it would make a difference. He was right — it may a huge difference as it made Conservatives mad that Soros was trying to interfere in our election and then Obama set up two offices in OK at the suggestion of Doofus, our RAT Governor who couldn’t find his way out of a paper bag. That RATs made a difference alright!

The difference was Inhofe won big, Obama got 34% of the vote and every county including heavily Dem ones went for McCain, we won a Corporation seat back from a Henry (Doofus) appointee, kept the Oklahoma House and for the first time in the history of the State of Oklahoma, Republicans took the Senate.

Maybe we should invite Soros to send his consultants back for the Coburn (Senate) and Fallin (Governor) races for their opponents in 2010. :)

I am a great admirer of Senator Inhofe and his stand on climate change. He has made a real difference. What I’m reading here makes me think even more highly of him!

Thank you for the info and your civility to this uninformed FReeper. I’ll be sure to pay more attention to someone who sounds like a true patriot from your descriptions. I’ve only listened to Bortz a couple times. Inhofe happened to be the guest today. Bortz pointed out the phrase after the interview and how it concerned him. He called Inhofe on his use of it. It made sense to me at the time in my ignorance of who Inhofe is and my jadedness with politicians in general. As I posted before, it’s hard to keep up with everyone in this crazy upside down world. Inhofe has not been on my radar. He is now. :~)

Good for you. Keep him on your radar. He has been fighting the global warming scam for years...and he has been effective on the issue because he informed himself.

I have lived in OK since Jan 1977 and I am trying to think of one vote I disagreed with Jim on and I cannot.

I remember in 2000, when I was helping the Bush campaign and during the primary it was pretty close, when all of a sudden I got the word gloves were off and Jim Inhofe was going to endorse then Governor Bush in the primary which he had never done and got to the western states to campaign for him before the CA primary and other State primaries. Inhofe was right there in those defense plants stumping for Bush. Learned then how popular Sen Inhofe was around the Country with his no-nonsense approach to issues.

To this day, I will believe that he helped turn the tide for Pres Bush over Sen McCain.

When we were trying to keep JC Watts seat Republican in 2002, he sent some of his staffers from his campaign for Senate down to ours to help out.

I am from Oklahoma and was a blogger for his last campaign and have been to numerous Town Halls as an elected party official and as a citizen. He treats everyone the same with respect. He doesn’t mince words when answering and gives the best and funniest speeches. He always has a Hillary comment to make which is why my comment in the heading.

Several conventions ago I remember when he talked about Global Warming being being junk science based on the wrong parameters and how scientists would mess with the results to get what they wanted.

Brought home a booklet that he and his staff had prepared with facts not far out Al Gorisms. He is one of the most patriotic Senators I have had the privilege to know and unlike so many, when you write him you get a reply that is not canned. Just recently got an email in response to a question I had sent him.

Wish we had a lot more like him in the Senate that puts America first.

I am off my soapbox! Glad to be of help! :)

I remember the first time he stood up at a GOP State Convention and called Global Warming Junk Science and got a standing ovation.

"Wish we had a lot more like him in the Senate that puts America first."

I totally agree. We wouldn't be in the mess we're in today. :~( I still believe that there are good people who go into politics for all the right reasons but compromise their principles that first time in an attempt to accomplish what they were elected for and then it's all down hill from there. They then find out what a dirty game Washington is and there is no going back. To me, it's a sad testament of the human condition.
