that is because I don’t think like these roaches who obviously are mentally deranged, that is why the Dems picked them, they pick people who are obviously suffering from mental illnesses and exploit them

*********************

You may very well be right. It seems that they have been sicced on Sarah like a pack of rabid dogs.

WOW what dummies. It’s NOT even her site. It was created by her best friend, she had nothing to do with it

That’s not the assertion being posited. Rather it is that she is getting favor/money from the source.

"Palin, who was implicated in an ethics probe."

Exactly. They're already doing it. When Palin announced her resignation, a member of the Seattle Times (jackass, incompetent, "journalist," Lance Dickie) implied that it might be because some huge ethics violation was about to surface, and he referenced the previous ethical complaints without giving a hint that they'd all been deemed without merit.

I think she should start filing a few law suits for harassment, slander, defamation of character and I’m sure there are more.

Let’s all look at Rules for Radicals and The Thumpin to see what is going on here. Obama and his cronies want people not to talk about ObamaCare, they want to derail our focus so that they can find a way to pass it. Obama knows his poll numbers are tanking, people don’t want this crap, so they think by targeting Sarah and filing more and more ethics complaints against her, that is what everyone will talk about. This is all a TACTIC by the Dems so they can pass their ObamaCare

An investigator for the state Personnel Board says in his July 14 report that there is probable cause to believe Palin used or attempted to use her official position for personal gain because she authorized the creation of the trust as the "official" legal defense fund.

What a patently ridiculous statement. The legal defense fund is for use by Sarah Palin as a private citizen to defray her personal legal expenses. She authorized the trust as the "official" legal defense fund for herself personally...such authorization has nothing to do with her position as Governor, but rather the fund was necessitated because Democrats hated her because she's popular, conservative and a perceived threat.

That’s what Obama wants her to do so she won’t have time to attack him every day. Clearly they want to occupy her time and drive her to distraction. This is pure Alinsky.

"Some building contractor for example could throw $250,000 there and then have state business."

So how are Congressmen and Senators allowed to use campaign funds for legal defense? A top donor's campaign donations are used for legal defense, then that donor gets a big government contract after being helped by the Congressman. Like that's never happened?

Of course. They find people, who are unemployed(Andree MacLeud and Linda Biegal both dont work, and both obviously suffer from some sort of mental illness, they find them, and give them some cash to file ethics complaints. I’ve checked out the twitter conversation between Andree and Linda yesterday, if I didn’t know who they were I would have thought I was reading a conversation between two 14 year old girls. Just like high school, girl gets asked to the prom by the most popular guy in school, other girls are jealous, decide to do whatever it takes to destroy her, teach her a lesson, they are jealous that other guys think she is “hot” this is typical childish behavior. Those women may be women but they have the minds of children

Apparently, the fund is to pay off the $500,000 in legal debts she owes. The problem is that it's not a capped thing. Some building contractor for example could throw $250,000 there and then have state business.

It is a pretty ethically difficult area when it comes to legal defense funds.

I agree that legal defense funds are 'problematic', but how many times are Republicans supposed to throw one of theirs in the dumper just to make a legal/ethical/political point which will just be ignored by our opponents?

They are not subject to the Alaskan Law.

The irony that is so delicious to the perverted DemonRAT and RINO political CROOKS, is that Sarah herself championed this law to address the rampant corruption in Alaska politics.

In his report, attorney Thomas Daniel said his interpretation of the ethics act is consistent with common sense.

An ordinary citizen facing legal charges is not likely to be able to generate donations to a legal defense fund, he wrote. "In contrast, Governor Palin is able to generate donations because of the fact that she is a public official and a public figure. Were it not for the fact that she is governor and a national political figure, it is unlikely that many citizens would donate money to her legal defense fund."

Does the Trust Agreement comply with Alaska gift law?

Yes. The Trust sets up strict guidelines on who can or cannot contribute to the Trust. For instance, neither Alaska registered nor federally registered lobbyists may make a contribution. Corporations may not contribute. The Trust limits how the money is spent.

Alaska Statute (“AS”) 39.52.130 Improper Gifts provides as follows, “(a) a public official may not solicit, accept, or receive, directly or indirectly, a gift, whether in the form of money, service, loan, travel, entertainment, hospitality, employment, promise, or in any other form, that is a benefit to the officer’s personal or financial interests, under circumstances in which it could reasonably be inferred that the gift is intended to influence the performance of official duties, actions or judgment.”

The Trust has a specific provision to address this law and states: “The Trust shall not accept any donation that is given, offered, or promised in any way or for any purpose that, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Trustee, would be a violation of any federal, state, or local law” and “The Trust shall not accept any donation that is made upon a condition that it be paid or applied other than for the purpose of the Trust.”

They are doing this to take away the focus on ObamaCare, they will find a way for it to pass while everyone is talking about this ethics complaint BS. This is Alinsky right to the letter. Alinsky would be proud of his student Obama, a chip off the old block

Thomas Daniel has a different view of common sense than I do. I see NOTHING improper about what Palin did. These lawsuits were filed BECAUSE Palin is a public figure, therefore her status as a public figure should not disqualify her from seeking financial assistance to fight them.
