Investigator: Palin May Have Violated Ethics Laws An independent investigator has found evidence that Gov. Sarah Palin may have violated ethics laws by accepting private donations to pay her legal debts.

Why this smells was that Sarah was very careful to insist that a maximum contribution could be only $150 per year and that she nor SarahPAC could have anything to do with the raising of the money.

By the way C4P who did hold a fundraiser for the legal defense fund over a period of a week is NOT controlled or managed by Sarah and Sarah has nothing to do with its operation or its content.
